Why are the latest videos only from 2002

I'm pretty new here so I was watching some vids and the latest ones are from '02 I know that there are tournaments everywhere so why doesn't anyone have footage of them

Becuase thats when the last videos were taken. New ones will probobaly be up sometime. Notice the max2 machines that are being played on?

I have a few from the Nationals Tournament in Arizona, November of 2003, ones that weren't put out through Bemanix, but taken myself. Most of the ones I have are from Colorado and New Mexico tournaments, but nothing too recent. I also have ones that I got off a P2P program years ago before I started playing. PM me with a messanger nickname etc if you want me to try to transfer them to you.

If you actually watch the videos, you'll quickly see that almost all of the videos on DDR Freak's site are freestyle videos. Who wants to watch a Tech video? They're boring! freestyle is a dying art, why it is a dying art is discussed in other threads of this forum.

The only (officail) tonraments near me are 100 miles away..... My mom wouldn't drive me, but when I'm older I'll send in videos ^.^

there are several reasons to why we haven't added any more videos, but the main reason is that bandwith is not easy to get when you require several TB/month and J Dogg is the only one paying for it
videos weren't available for quite some time, it took a huge effort from the administration to get them to work again

anyways, there's a sticky thread for videos in the gameplay forum... why don't you check it out? you'll get some cool stuff there
