April Fools? Well, sort of. We aren't completely switching over from DDR to ITG. However, we are going to be covering more and more of ITG in the future. The itg.ddrfreak.com subdomain is for real. Expect to see more information about ITG coming from us in the future! We hope our visitors will welcome this change, as more information is always better.

Good. I'm glad that we will also have ITG; it's an equally good game with many good songs.

Why resist? Every time ITG gets mentioned in a thread that you see, you seem to be inclined to make a subtle little comment about it. Isn't it time you stepped up and became a little more blunt?

That's sticking around too, and hopefully we'll be able to update information for that as well, but I think the primary focus for the time being is the ITG stuff.

I've never played ITG but it's just another knock-off of DDR. Why not just leave it at giving it its own topic in the forums? E19.gif Does this mean there won't be anymore cool DDR Freak t-shirts? They'll be ITG Freak t-shirts? ( goog.gif )

A knock off that's better than the original.

I finally got to play DDR at a local tourny last night (thanks to cmcm for bringing it!) and I must say it is much better than DDR.

I think people don't like the idea of ITG because they're not familiar with the songs.

The hand plants and mines are a nice touch...and the mods...my god the mods... drool.gif

But anyways, I'm glad to see we now have an itgfreak style sub domain of the site. Good job ddrfreak staff. nerd.gif

i've never played ITG, i plan on getting it, but I'm still glad to hear that DDR Freak will still be covering DDR.

DDR is the original, and it deserves to stay E4.gif

and even if ITG is as good as everyone says it is, i probably wont abandon DDR. A game that makes you lose 35 lbs and keep it off is something hard to let go of. riiight.gif

I'm slightly happy that DDRFreak is now including ITG. I myself like DDR a tad more, but I've played ITG before, and it's really fun. I'm all for it!

They're going to say nuts to over 40,000 members of the DDR community because they like other games?

You suck at logic.

I've been blunt for quite some time. And to tell you the truth I originally had a big problem with it being a part of the site. But because of another project, I'm not so against it being here. But I still think of the game as a personal slap in the face.

And I believe the comment in here is one of the first public "subtle" comments outside of the New York forum. I really don't know what other threads you are looking at.

I myself have played ITG. We got off to quite a bad start though. I had a day off from school to go to the oral surgeon and mom told me I could play DDR all day afterwards since it was an hour away and she didn't want to take me back. So I went to South Park mall, and ITG was there O_O;.. I still played it, even though it made me pretty angry <<;. ITG is a good game, but I DON'T think it's better than the original. I like ITG, but I don't want to see Konami and Roxor games fight or one try to take over the other... And I still prefer DDR. ^_^

..So I'm ok with ITG content, just please never take away the precious DDR content. ^-^

Oh.. And it made me kind of happy because I still have #1 scores on the machine. ^_^

EDIT: disabled smilies. @_@

Another fix would to not use so many damn cheesy anime smilies.

I'm more or less indifferent on covering ITG. It's just another silly arrow smashing game.
