I've always wondered if i was the only DDr[er] that likes rpg's but i geuss not. recently i discovered another DDR[er] that thinks final fantasy is the greatest genre of games. (well, other than DDR) this room will be completely for some "gangland" style battles of story vs. shooting
I personally do like rpg's better because there actually a challenge and it is the next best thing to reading a book. and i like a good book. SO POST ALL YOU CAN PEOPLE. THIS WAR WILL COME TO AN END. _________________

What is the point of this thread? It's like saying "HEY DO PEOPLE WHO LIKE FOOTBALL ALSO LIKE BASKETBALL?". _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

To the question at hand: RPGs, mostly SNES RPGs, like Chrono Trigger and FF6. The early versions of Pokemon work for me, too. _________________

*Looks over at game shelf which contains, among other things, Capcom Vs. SNK 2, Dynasty Warriors 4, SSX 3, Soul Calibur 2, Dark Cloud, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Final Fantasy X, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania: SOTN, NBA Street Vol. 2, and Splinter Cell* Basically, I play just about everything. Not a big fan of first person shooters, but I did like Deus Ex and No One Lives Forever. The only genre I think I actually don't like is online RPGs. They bore the bejeezus out of me. |

RPGs are ok. I have to really like the game to get into it. Tales of Symphonia was a good game. FF games are alright. But I normally don't have the patience with RPGs. D&D is an exception though, because I can play that at any time.
As far as shooters go, Counter-strike, BF1942, and SOCOM. _________________

Grandia used to be my one of my favourite games. Then I realized it sucked.
No RPGs for me. Puzzle games and cute games are much better. |

I play a bit of everything, though I mostly stick to RPGs; I'm in the midst of Xenosaga II and Baten Kaitos at the moment. The occasional driving game (Burnout 3) is good, and I live for puzzle games. I kept my NES just so I could play the original Tetris. About the only genre I don't play is 1st person shooters; they make me motion-sick. |

I tend to shy away from RPG's, yet i'm better at fighting games like most of the Mortal Kombat's. _________________
