well i don't think they should qualify if they just run up and their mom inserts money, and they just stomp around on the pad, but if that does qualify, like 4 years old. but if you actually talk about trying to play it would be my 10 year old brother _________________

The youngest I know who just stomps randomly around is my daughter, who is 22 months old.
The youngest I know who plays for real is a regular at the local arcade who by my estimation is about 8. Of course, she needs to hold the bar constantly, due to only weighing about 45 lbs. |

Heh, she's only a little taller than the bar, and practically has to reach *up* to grab the bar. But perhaps that's good, because she can push against the bar to push down harder of the dance pads. |

I actually think that little kids are pretty good at DDR...but I suppose that's not always the rule. My boyfriend's little brother is 10 and has no rythmn lol. But I've seen many little kids tear it up. _________________

So far, the youngest I've seen was about seven. He can pass six footers and that's about it. But for me, I started when I was six, and I sucked. Hehe, that was seven years ago though. _________________

The last time I went to the arcade, there was this scrawny little 10 year old boy who was doing better than I am. He passed R&P, and got halfway through PSMO. I nearly shat myself. _________________

Yeah I know. . . my sis is 11 and she's just as good as me (which is kinda surprising) Oh. . . not '97, more like '98 _________________

Youngest I've seen is my little brother, who is 7. He doesn't just randomly stomp, but actually plays, though the poor thing weighs about 40-some pounds and just can't seem to get his feet to step correctly on the arrows.
But the youngest I've seen who is actually good was probably this 9 year old kid who I saw pass both Tess songs in a row (Stay and Justify My Love) without breaking a sweat. And I mean pass with an A, not just barely passing with a D. _________________
