DDR 4th Mix modification menu?

I use 1.5x mod when playing DDR and haven't ever come across this problem with a machine before. It's almost always hold in the green button to get to the mod menu, but I finally tracked down a 4th mix machine and I can't seem to find any way to get to the mod menu. I can play on 1x but much prefer to play on 1.5~ ;{

Is there any way to get into the mod menu or is the entire game just lacking one?

Speed mods and the mod menu weren't implemented until 6th Mix (MAX). There are foot codes you can enter but none of them will speed up the arrows. Putting the arrows on Sudden should help.

Maybe now it's time to get better at 1x

how do I go about using the foot mods for sudden? Maybe that will help.

I knew when I started playing DDR that I shouldn't use 1.5, but I didn't think that besides small tournaments that it would ever be a big problem for me that I used 1.5 instead of 1.

Luckily I never did many tournaments since using the bar became legal...

My big thing was, "I like 1.5x better and since I don't tourni then it doesn't matter!"

I guess I learned my lesson lmao.

Yeah, they were implemented in Solo 2000. I forgot about that. MAX was the first doubles mix with speed mods AFAIK though.
