What's interesting is that it's the 1st DDR game on the PS3.

Though with singstar you have downloadable content vor Singstar, I don't thing it will be built in here.

Yay, official PS3/360 DDR announced today! Check any game site for Konami's E3 keynote for some basic info. Apparently it includes a new 8-panel dance pad... woohoo? I'm just excited about the fact that there will be 150 songs available for it!

Honestly, if they're doing a 2-volume Best Hits kind of thing, I'd much rather it be split like so:

Vol 1. Fun songs for casual/playful play.
Vol 2. Hard songs for pro/expert play.

Being able to play a good selection of hits that were seperated by being in different systems all together, without disc/system-swapping is tops. Also, you get in a fun-song mood, you have a bunch of songs to play without switching discs. You get in a competitive hard-songs mood, and you have a bunch you can play without switching discs.

i want to know if they will put anything else like some kind of surprise because tbh 50 songs isn't very much. especially for the ps3 version being on blu-ray.

It once had been explained by Konami for Singstar.

Yes, they can put a lot more songs on it but, more songs is more royalities to be payed which would make the game a lot more expensive. Also, you pay money for songs which you don't like either.
So they more like to put a basic number on the disk and let the other songs downloadable so you can choose yourself which songs you want to pay for and which you don't.

I would like to get this for 360 but if I cannot use my CF then I don't want to.

I will probably get the PS2 game, assuming it is $20 and the songs aren't already all released in the US already.
