It appears that the person behind the popular ITG stat tracking site Groovestats.com has decided to call it quits and sell his work.
From Groovestats.com:
"It saddens me to admit this, but I've reached a point where I have neither the time nor the desire to implement new features for GrooveStats. I realize that this is unfair to those who are still dedicated to the community and desire improvement. So, I'm looking for someone to take over as webmaster or to buy the whole website all together. If interested in buying, you would be paying for: the domain name, all associated scripts and data, the rights to all future Ad/Upload Token revenue, and the countless hours of work put in. If interested please contact me at the email on the bottom of the page. You should be a proficient web programmer and have a strong interest in the dance game community.
Do not worry though, all of your scores and simfiles are safe - it just might be under new, more dedicated ownership. Thanks for the support, it's been an amazing 5 years." _________________

The owner might want to discuss a merger with the other sites.
I might consider purchasing it if I could get some readouts on their visit data.

You should bring this up to the Beatspace.net folks. I know they have their own tracker but it'd be cool if they did a merger. Just my two cents _________________

I can't blame Chez for wanting to do this. A lot less people are interested in the game now, so it makes it seem not worth it to continue adding new features and fix all the bugs and w/e. At least he stuck with it with 5 years. GJ yo. |
