ITG3 Upgrade?

I've seen youtube videos of people running ITG3 on their machines and I've even heard people or comments saying something to the effect that they've "purchased" the ITG3 upgrade and the Hard Drive. What is all this about? I thought that ITG 3 was simply a custom theme running on a hacked ITG2 dedicab. But if that's the case, why are people "buying" it. Am I mistaken about something? Can someone please enlighten me?

There's no such thing as ITG3 upgrade. However there is fan-made ITG3 theme and ITG3 song pack but they are not sold, you can get them for free.

no such thing. didn't you hear that RoXoR got sued? why would they finish ITG3? even if they did... konami wouldint let it be released

He's not the only one I've known to mention getting an ITG3 "Hard Drive" though. This is why I finally had to ask this question.

He just doesn't know the facts. There is no such thing as ITG3 upgrade, some guys are just probably selling it for him while he could get it for free.

Unless you really insist on having the marquee, you're getting scammed by "buying" ITG3. There's no need to replace the hard drive anyway, most arcades hack their machines to add custom songs and themes. I can't post how to do it on the forums but if you look around enough you can find out how.
