Yeah, the best pass of any girls I know is a 10. Lots of girls at my college play at DDR Club, but they just don't have the stamina and technical ability to do an 11.

My goal for 2009 is to pass 14's and handle 200 bpm 16th streams, but I'm curious - what 14 songs should I tackle first? In other words, which 14 is the easiest one where people aren't going to say, "oh that's just a 13"?

If you have stamina but problem with feet speed (like me) then I would suggest The Pride of the Tyrant from Cosmic Apocalypse, it's only 180 bpm. Also maybe Holy Orders and Dokudenpa. |

I think the foot speed issue is just the fact that I have little experience with 16th stream at > 180bpm. I can do simple streams like in Anisakis at 185 bpm, but anything complicated that requires a lot of movement of one foot from the up arrow to the down arrow is too fast for me. Also, it's more difficult to do fast streams (and read faster) without a bar. In addition, my stamina gets drained much faster if I have to read above like 175 bpm, cause I can't make fluid movements from arrow to arrow.
I definitely lack the stamina to do a 180 bpm song for > 2000 steps. I don't recall playing Pride of the Tyrant and thinking it's something I will be able to do anytime soon. Same for Holy Orders. Dokudenpa is rather weird, but if I can keep my legs moving for the entire stream, then it's likely I could pass it. I guess I just need to rise to 14 level, which appears to be 180+ bpm. Now, give me a bar, and on a good day I just might be able to pass a 14.

I had the same problem when i was passing my first 14s. like on dokudenpa. a couple months ago i could make it to the main run without to much trouble but i my legs would give out halfway. start training your foot speed and your leg strength and you should be able to do those no problem. first 14s ill suggest is Flash's Ecstasy, dokudenpa, and holy orders.
