Another pad question-for Xbox360

My wife and I purchased DDR for the Xbox360 for my daughter's Christmas present. It comes with the Konami controller. I wanted to purchase an additiona pad. I found the Konami and Mad Katx pads:

Will these be good for a couple of 12 year olds? Is there something better out there?
