So, if I go into my DIY store, what should I ask them for (other than the aviation snips)?

F*cking great. One week on, and this is now what my left arrow looks like:

Fortunately it's not a huge crack, but it will probably develop and get bigger.. frown.gif

I have only played in socks, I'm a teenager and I'm nowhere near overweight.. and these panels were made out of 'lexan'.. pff.

Lexan my buttocks; I can tell that's Plexi just by seeing how it cracks. Fortunately, the crack is in a corner, so it shouldn't hurt, even if it develops more, as long as you don't have central cracking.

When you do have to replace the sensors, shell out the cash and get a 24"x24"x3/16" sheet of Lexan directly from GE. It'll cut smoother, flex better, and last longer than those pieces of junk.

The right arrow has now got a rather large central crack.

I sent the guy an email, but sine the pad has no warranty, I don't think this was a very good buy. :\

You can replace those broken arrows at your local plexiglass store if your town has one. Where I live its a tap plastics. They also have a website called tapplastics.com I am pretty sure your polycarbonate arrows are a 1/4 inch but you should double check it and measure to see how long the length and width is. So like just call the number up on the website and order 4 or 8 10 3/4x 10 3/4 of 1/4" plexiglass(this is just an example cause I don't know the exact measurements of your polycarbonate panels). You'll have to cut the corners of the plexiglass or get someone else to cut it if they are cut cause I don't know if they are cut. If you have a local plexiglass store they should be able to do all that for you.

I have no idea how much plexiglass will cost. I can get the measurements, though. Looks something around £20 (~$45). We'll see.

It depends on the thickness/depth of the plexiglass for how much it costs. They charge by the foot so a 11" x 11" panel would cost the same as a 12" by 12". So like a 11" x 11" panel of 1/4" plexiglass would cost about $3 and some change per panel.

Like I said, don't waste your money on Plexiglass panels unless they're at least 3/8" thick. Those are most likely 1/8"~3/16".

I think it's 1/4 inch most likely. Dancing tofu plexiglass is fine for a 1/4 inch. Maybe not for anything less than a 1/4" inch. Plexiglass is way stronger than polycarbonate. No i'm not guessing, I know that a 1/4 inch of plexiglass is fine to play ddr on.
