@Xenon: Do you play on your toes or do you play flat footed?

@Revolver: How were you able to score only an 82 on Summer with 0nly 20 greats and nearly a full combo?

infection is one of those songs that screws up alot of people. the mine placements the first couple of times i played it screwed me over alot. its the same as the run in vertex^2 right before the speed up with all the bloody mines around it. i cant read it and end up failing (ive only passed it once ARGH!!!!).

Summer is extremely hard to score on. even one or 2 misses can like butcher your score. i played it today and got like 96.5 something idk (highest is 97.00) with like 1 miss. It took me FOREVER to be able to even break 90 on it because i got so many misses on the last 2 streams.

only like 2 new scores for me today

Tribal style: 99.56
Drifting Away:99.40

That's my playstyle now. I used to be a toes player until I switched to ITG from DDR. I still use comparatively a lot of energy, ESPECIALLY for jumps (I played Legend on the Dedi and got a 91.xx, then got a 96 on July next song). I use toes for crossovers but only because that is easier for me.

Oh, you are a girl. This I did not know :x Anyways, it looks like that is pretty much flat footed, so just try that rate mod stuff, and try to push yourself and you will be able to get your feet moving faster soon.

My only Summer pass was a full combo with under 20 or so greats (and alright FA) until the last run section. I got an 82.XX%.

Meaning that until the last run section, I had that full combo. Hell, I think I only had one great until 50ish%, but my stamina started to die out and I got sloppy. Then the last runs came and I basically got nothing but greats and noncomboes.

Okay, I gotcha. If you have a hacked cab, or at least r21 with custom songs enabled, I would recommend playing a few long charts to increase your stamina. Even if they aren't really too tiring, it should help. But the real key to stamina is just pushing yourself. Like if you approach the end of summer and you feel like quitting, you continue playing even though you are out of breathe. Do that every now and then and then come back to summer and you should be able to get through the last part easier than before.

hmmm if you can at least pass summer i suggest playing infernoplex and flower forever they are a couple minutes longer so they'll help with your stamina.

Eh, I don't like playing long sims. I get bored before they're finished (most are just way too repetitive or terrible charts or both [I'm looking at you, Groovestats custom songs]), and really long sims give me lower back pain for some reason. I'll just stick with getting a little more stamina with harder officials/normal length songs.

Went to the arcade twice this weekend, learned to be a sockfag, and it helped my stamina so much. I went from getting tired on 11's to passing 13's and 14's:

99.65 on Cjota's Animals (Lol up from a 96, only 10 ex, maybe next time I'll SDE it)
76 on Boss on Parade (this was a joke attempt, I didn't think I would make it 1/2 way o_O)
80 on Destination (First try arcade, will raise it alot, or go for Final Destination)
77 on Summer (Joke attempt, heel toed everything but run cause I pretty much hate everything but run, nearly FC'd the run though E1.gif )
And made it 1/2 way through OWA and Infernoplex, but OWA has too many jumps and I get lazy, and infernoplex and I didn't feel like pushing. Passes from both next time. (hopefully)

Nice score, man. I haven't seen scores from you in ages.

EDIT: Just played seriously for the first time in a while. My stamina is still alive! But my FA is awful.

I played this for the sake of finishing my GS scoresheet. I swear I could 87 this on 3x overhead.

Monotone Couples. It was both of our first times ever playing doubles (Moe is on the right)

On video too.

Not my highest. Shows how my FA went down the drain. =/

=/

98.26 Kiss Me Red (with like 5 random as hell greats)
98.xx Turn It On
