Unrelated to X, the master songlist appears to hint that Konami is planning a new Disney mix. Several files for classic Disney songs such as "A Spoonful of Sugar" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" exist.

A part of me just died on the inside...

Pff. Disney Mix was amazing. The US version, anyway, with the Maniac steps. I'll totally be getting this when it comes out.

2 questions:

1.) Is Information just...Info again like most PS2 mixes or is it like EX2?

2.) What does info say about Trust?

OH, another question (hey I'm exited give me a break). is Dub-I-Dub's expert chart closer to it's 2nd mix chart or it's 4th mix chart, and could I possibly also get a video of Till The Lonley's Gone or whatever it's called? PLEASE!

Dub-I-Dub's chart is similar to the 2nd Mix steps (I think, if the 4th Mix one is the super crazy chart). Most of the EXPERT charts for the X-Mix songs are almost identical to their original charts, they've changed up a few steps to make them flow better and fit with the new parts in the music and have added freeze arrows.

I'll try and get some vids up later.

I did manage to unlock some characters and songs by just using free play. The street master mode has its moments, but tends to drag at some points. I also hate that it takes a long time for the songs to come on when scrolling. I wont say what song or who I unlocked because I know that some people dont have the game yet, and want to find out themselves.

WTF?! They don't mention ANYTHING about the song being from Gurren Lagann!?

Might be able to get the game today or Thursday.

Got this mix since yesterday. I'm having an absolute BLAST with it. I think this might be one of my favorite home versions, going right up there with SN2 JP, EX2, and even 5th Mix. I'm surprised at the lack of information in this thread, though. Looks like I'm gonna have to supply some!

Quote:
EXTRA STAGE

Extra Stage works a bit similarly to SN2 AC's method. You get access to a special song in the Final Stage. AA it, and you go to Extra Stage. AA THAT, and you get Encore Extra Stage.

Funny thing is that Extra Stage is NOT just for Expert anymore. You can play the Final Stage on ANY difficulty and access ES (and by extension, EES) for that same difficulty. Yes, that means Beginner EES is possible. On Extra Stage, its pretty much whatever mods you want to throw on it, but with the ONI BAR. You get 1, 3, or 4 lives if you are on Expert/Challenge, Standard, or Beginner/Basic respectively. EES has the same rules we all know and love: break combo, and you're toast. No mods, forced 1x.

FINAL STAGE: On The Break - Darwin

Insanely fun song, amazing step chart. One of my favorites in the game.

EXTRA STAGE: Horatio - OR-IF-IS

Yes, that would be OR-IF-IS of A Different Drum fame. A latin/calipso-sounding number with an Expert chart of 15 and Challenge chart of 16. Haven't tried the Challenge chart yet, but Heavy is filled with 16th-note jackhammers out the wazoo. Also has one of the most hilarous BG movies in recent memory. PIRTATE PRARIE DOGS.

ENCORE EXTRA STAGE: Trigger - sonicoli (I think...)

Tempo change heavy, like the Plutos, but a little less BS than the Plutos I think. Crazy, nonetheless.

I'll have more when I have the game in front of me for more info

The ES lifebar lives are dependent on your performance on the final stage.

The ES and EES songs are reportedly purported to change when you've unlocked enough of the songlist.

And we knew about mods in HP2 for forever.

El Mullet: You've been able to play the extra stage on any difficulty level since SN2 AC. You just have to earn it on something other than heavy. Or are you saying that you can now earn it on heavy and then demote yourself?

My local Gamestop has it today, but I didn't think to pick it up because I wasn't expecting it until Wednesday. Whoops. I got the recorded message after they closed. >_< I mean come on, six straight years of picking up my new DDR game on a Wednesday and now they throw me this curveball. Now it'll be seven straight years of Wednesdays after all. disturb.gif I want it now!

Any sign of the the groove radar special edits? There's really only 2/6 that I want, but I thought that they might "revive" them since they revived those other old licenses.

CxMxLx: Yes, there are two announcers. They're both always "on". You don't pick or anything. And yes, yes, the the game is crap.

Finally got this mix. And the license list isn't as disappointing as I thought it was. Still could use some hip hop. But whatever. Some of the KOs really have an urban feel to them, so they didn't disappoint there.

Oh man, the game is so amazing right now. The KOs are a lot better, and story mode is cheesy, yet entertaining.
