Dance pad help..

Recently my second red octane ignition 3.0 pad broke after about 7 months of 9/10/11 foot songs on in the groove. I am looking to buy a new pad. I want a HARD pad or a cheap metal pad. MY budget is about 80$. I bought a react pad at best buy, and it was horrible. Right now I am thinking about this pad:

The thing that gets me is, how is a metal pad only 30$? and why does it say wii in the URL and its for ps? I am going to use the pad for a play station two. I would have used the soft pads that came with the in the groove, but they slide around and the circle kills me. I can't play with the circle in the center of the pad. Instead of it being square it is a circle, and it messes up my whole sense of direction. What bads do you reccomend? Please help me.

This should really be in http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=124270 "which pad is better" I think. You'd probably get more help/info if you look through the Bemani Controllers section in general. But I don't want to backseat mod, that's kinda rude.

My advice? don't buy ANYTHING from ddrgame in general ... and that url you posted? goes to ddrgame.yahoo.net - that's not ddrgame's url. So something's real fishy there. ddrgame.com has the ion pad (and it's really no good) - look at the real prices.

I'm thinking this game.yahoo url is some sort of spoof or phishing site ... something's really screwy about that pad you posted and the price. Next to the Product Code it says test-code-4. So either ddrgame bought another domain name (why .net?) or, I don't know.

Yeah. the yahoo.net is the exact same site with 4 different pads. I guess I will avoid ddrgame.com too. So is red octane ignition 3.0 my best option?

umm, not sure, never used an RO. Have written to ddrgame to let them know/hopefully find out if this yahoo.net thing is legit or a scam site to get peoples' money and personal info.
