They already have this topic (What song(s) would you like in DDR that is not in DDR?), and I already have ITG2 running hacked with 806 songs anyway, official and original, so it would be silly to even bother to think of releasing an official mix. _________________

Yes, I know of the what song would you like in ddr that is not in ddr thread, but I am not asking that. I am asking for people to make their own mix that could include songs that are already in ddr, or not. Also, as a semi-complete mix instead of just a single song. So, in essence, someone could come up with a totally 90's mix, or whatever they wanted. If nothing else, with the samples included in the posts, you may be able to find some new songs that you like.
As an example of the songs that could have been in a mix already, the song japanese girl by beat crusaders apparently is on a version of guitar freaks. I have also seen a video of a stepmania version of aerodynamic. |

Also the old thread doesn't require a link to a sample, so I for one have no idea what "the queer eye for the straight guy intro" sounds like.
Not to bag on any person in particular, but the worst thing about this forum is how it is taboo to make a thread that could even be remotely close to another thread. I mean, I don't want to have to sort through a 100page stickied thread to find a single post that is relevant to what I want to know, and I also don't want to get ridiculed for asking a similar question because I don't want to do said actions based on the possibilities that what I want to find out may not even be in there. It just makes this forum seem unfriendly, and I know that's not the case as I've talked over AIM and met a couple members who seem pretty cool. Having all this "this was already in another thread" junk just limits the topics of conversation available to new members, and will eventually lead to the demise of this forum altogether (my prediction). Honestly though... who stays interested in a thread and actually replies to it after 6 years?A lot of the sticky threads were started by members who aren't even active anymore. |

Honestly guys, there's barely any new threads in Chit Chat ever, so there's no need to nitpick about this. This is distinct enough. _________________

ON TOPIC:
I don't have the attention span to make a complete list for what I would like to see...but what I can write out is a megamix oni/nonstop course I wish they would throw into DDR.
Konami is well known for hundreds of other games outside of their Bemani branch. I want to see a 8-bit oni/nonstop course, where they basically throw in a dozen songs from their old games. Burning Heat and Twin Bee would definitly be there, but I'd also love to see old-school medleys from Castlevania, Contra (come on, a contra song is too good to pass up!), Life Force, Jackal, Metal Gear, Q'bert, Gyruss, and Rush'n Attack just for starters.
There're dozens more games they could make music from. I've never understood why they haven't done more songs in the same fashion as Burning Heat and Twin Bee. Do these only appeal to me because I grew up on a NES? Do the younger players think these kind of songs are lame? _________________
