Indeed it was. Hearing the ignorant comments actually annoyed me quite a bit, so I started playing DDR afterward. _________________

yup. Saw that while i was on vacation. Pissed me off. The quote about how back in the day people danced so they could sleep with someone was hilarious thou. If only that applied to ddr (sigh). _________________

Kraft is doing that "send a bunch of UPC codes in, get a Kraft dance pad" deal. I'm half tempted to do it just to review it. It was on a Cocoa Pebbles commercial. Here's the form. That was the 1st (& hopefully last) time I had to go to Postopia.

But seriously what kind of pad is it, it can't really be DDR, isn't it a different game? _________________

Connects to your PC via USB & you can play a downloadable version or something. Not sure if it'd actually work on a PS2... |

Haha, holy crud, you know what? The last time I bought some cereal for breakfast, I got Cocoa Pebbles. And they were buy one, get one free. So, two UPC's taken care of.
Be warned that the Kraft pad has a joystick axes conflict, you'll have to pop the control box and cross a couple of wires, but not bad for a $5 8-directional pad. |

It's a basic sheet plastic pad (trashbags, like those included in console versions). You'll have to swap Start/Left and Select/Up to use it in StepMania.
I'd recommend that any further discussion of the Kraft pad take place in the controllers board.
Apparently there is a DDR movie in the works? Anyone got an imdbPro account to take a look? |

I don't know if someone said it, but there is a film (in french) made in Quebec (province of Canada) named *Ã vos marques, Party!* who features one scene with a DDR 5th MIX machine. It was used to show the competition between 2 girls. When the first played and got an *A*, she asked to the other if she could do better in a way. She accepted, played Swing It (on Light I think) and got an *AAA*. The funny thing is when the camera showed the screen, we saw the second girl getting a great score during her performance, so she wasn't supposed to get her *AAA*.
Anyway, when we consider that maybe 99% of the people who have watched this probably don't know much about DDR, it's not a big deal . |

The commercial for that new Disney movie about football includes a scene where she has to dance on a (I think) Pump It Up machine. |

Didder is in a sunday night football commercial that the manning brothers made. They're using the crappy konami plastic pads too. _________________
