Obviously you haven't heard much Slake outside of 22dunk or cloudy music. Slake has a lot of really good songs (Green eyes, Scream Squad, Mint, Texture, and Music to your head come to mind).

Hate to be beating a dead horse here, but once I saw the DDRX logo, I wanted to projectile vom all over my living room. I think as long as the game isn't raped with North American new release crap, I'll enjoy the game much more than I did with SN2. Planet songs and Paranoia Respect sound quite lovely E1.gif

The planet songs haven't officially been confirmed, but from the looks of the songs that were previewed the rest are almost a given. As for Paranoia Respect, where did you hear that?! I don't recall hearing about that one anywhere.... and I'm kinda surprised there weren't any GR versions of Paranoia, now that I think about it.

Well, since it was a SN AC release, a lot of people were assuming Paranoia Respect was going to be on SN2 as the exclusive Paranoia song. Instead, they latch on Hades and make heads spin. Respect is the only Paranoia thus far that is not on a console game, and its been out for quite a while.

Ughh, I have a feeling I won't really like DDR X... Not crazy about alot of the JP only songs on SN2 which will obviously come over to X.

Still, you never know. If Freedom, Wookie Wookie and Golden Sky makes it, I'll be happy E1.gif

Whoops! Left a word or two out during the edit. Minor typo. To cut it short, Slake rules and DM is a musical form of ipecac. nono.gif

Btw, no love for I Really Love You So?!? (and Cloudy Music is one of my most played on 7th Style)

Please don't judge until you've heard the track for yourself. happy.gif

RC, if you don't mind me asking, what's the most recent work of mine you've heard?

Yeah, I think people may be taking my post [theory] to heart. I was only making an educated guess as to what songs will be in DDRX from Konami's past record. Poseidon is in DDRX (unless they pull a Sweet Sweet Love Magic on us from DDREX US), so that makes me guess they'll put in all the planet songs, though I'm curious what/if they'll replace STARS*** re-edited by HAL (DDR EDITION) with. PARANOiA ~Respect~ is the only PARANOiA track we haven't had yet, so (though we've been saying it for 3+ years now) it would make sense to "finally" hand it over to us. But who knows?

I was disappointed with DDRSN2 US (hence my reason for calling it DDRSN1.5 US) because of the old-old catch up songs we got, plus the 5 songs from online you could play on DDRSN US, not to mention repeating Fascination ~eternal love mix~....still scratch my head over that one. We've been begging for years, and though I still hold slight hope, I think it's time Konami upped the ante to 80 songs (or more). DDREX2 still holds the title for many as the perfect US mix, though some debate it with UM2. I like surprise songs, and rarely since UM2 and EX2 have I been surprised at the KOs in the home releases. If my prediction from page 3 is true, then that's a good start I guess, but I still want to be surprised at great licenses and brand new KOs.

Well I think they already confirmed 70~ songs... what do you think this is, the latest Japanese mix?

I'll give you paranoia respect though... maybe they'll include it? I'm pretty sure that the rest of the planet songs will be in it, though. Why would we get the one and not any of the others?

Fingers crossed for the 'specials', though.

How about Trip Machine Luv Mix? And Pink Rose (I know it came in EX, but it would be nice to be able to play it with a controller and a dance pad since my family likes to do that)? How about some songs that went to the XBox like ever snow, Destiny Lovers, etc.

And of course Rebirth/Respect to finish off Paranoia on the PS2 (I think)

How about the songlist consist of more than 70 songs like every goddamn year so we can fit those in too?

Well they are going for a family-friendly game so there might be more "1,2 Step crap".

Don't know what umbrella crap is, so I can't say if I like it or not, but I just don't like "KISS FM" music (modern pop music for those people lucky enough to not know of kiss fm).

edit, if you mean that emo song, then I could do without that too.

I think if they are going to do games like hottest party which are compilations of pop music over the past couple decades, they should be more specific to the particular decade... say ddr: Best of the 90's, or whatnot. Then at least, i could weed out the modern pop that I dislike.
