Hey, question for the Universe fans...
For the last two games, I've been taking video requests and filming them with my camera. However, I recently got a DVD recorder so I could put some decent-quality videos on my YouTube channel. Thing is, I've noticed that requests seem to come one at a time or in small bursts, and to use up a whole blank DVD to record 1-5 minute-and-a-half-long songs is quite a waste. If there ends up beng a demand for videos, I'll just record all songs in the game all at once.
My question is this: When this occurs, should I upload everything all at once, or only certain songs as people request them, like before? If I should upload all at once, is there any particular order preferred, like boss songs first, etc.?
I'll probably ask again when the game actually comes out, I just want to know what I should expect. _________________

X looks interesting. I'm glad they listened to some of our requests to make the stages more interesting. I hope they make it like EX2. Catch up songs with a nice helping of new KOs and crossovers for the CS game.
This makes me very curious though. Why aren't they releasing an Arcade game for the 10th anniversary? Or maybe they're waiting to release it on 20, November, which would go over the US's usual DDR annual release date. _________________

Wow, I check back on here after a while and three new games are confirmed? I'm not going to write an essay on this, because there'd be too much to say, but this is just amazing. I really like how Konami is incorporating different designs and modes to make these games feel new and fresh.
Just one thing... it looks like they put a U3 song in the X trailer (you can match the lyrics to the U3 screenshots). Does that mean the U3 trailer could possibly have an X song? If that's Taj He Spitz, I'm pleasantly surprised, but if not then it's still a decent song.
Hopefully more songs will be confirmed soon. E3 is in July, right? Or could we possibly get info before that? |

I didn't get HP1, and I don't own a 360 yet... but DDRX looks interesting. I'm sure that they'll include the missing planet songs (and possibly the groove radar specials, being the 10th anniversary version.)
Not really sure what else they'll include, though. _________________

I just noticed that the DDR Universe 3 screens say "Stage 1" on the middle top part of the screen. That's interesting, seeing as how none of the Xbox or Xbox 360 games had stages. I liked it that way, too, but I wouldn't mind having to play through "stages" like in the arcades or on the PS2 games. _________________

I'm lovin' the logo and interface to X so far, which makes up for the annoying name. I especially like the handwritten-looking arrow judgements. I'm just really hoping they'll start reviving old songs again... I like playing things in better-than-PS1 graphics, and with this being a big anniversary, it'll be suitable.
They need to bring back Let the beat hit 'em! because Disney Mix is the only one I can't find. _________________

The PS2 mix is usually the most important for me. I really do like X so far (Poseidon FTW), but at this point, I really wish they'd make a game that says 80+ instead of 70. Also, Konami, look at my sig and realize how saddened I was by SN2
What I'm hoping for....
Some R&B/Hip Hop licenses (2-4 really good ones if there's 70 songs)
The rest of the planet songs (especially Pluto)
Freedom
Bloody Tears
Blind Justice
Across the Nightmare
Destiny Lovers
TEARS
Chikara
Himawari
Brilliant R-E-D
Soul Crash
Paranoia Respect
I think there's way too many songs they haven't given the U.S. yet to put in only 70 songs. Of course they're not going to put ALL of them in, but having about 10 more songs isn't gonna kill anyone.
I'm a little iffy on HP2, because I hated how ALL the licenses were covers in HP. Sure it worked to make some of them more danceable , but for some really good songs they could've kept the originals and they'd have been just as danceable. And I just hope they don't put in a really late unlock like tokyoEVOLVED or whatever it's called.
Universe 3, I'm not paying too much attention to yet. Senses annoys me, though. _________________

You should change your sig from SN2 CS to X CS.
Can't wait till we see the songwheel interface for X. |

Dude don't even fucking joke about that.
Kinda hoping for a gold-toned EX2ish theme myself. _________________

People could actually believe that if it was brown (like Flow) and had light, standard, and heavy changed to their SN names _________________

Hmmmm... Not to add fire to the speculation, joke pic flames there, but there may be a itsy bitty teensy wee bit of validity to that pic. Not the songwheel of course, oh GOD NOES!

What? You think I guessed some songs or something?
Well, Your Rain (SPEED MIX) was something I just made up.
The two fake licenses are:
Be Good To Me (feat. David Jassy) / Ashley Tisdale
COME BACK TO ME (Album Version) / Vanessa Hugens
Oh, and just to be evil... notice there's no Bloody Tears (IIDX Version) in between Blind Justice and COME BACK TO ME (Album Version)!

Shame shame, UG.
Well like I said, there may be a slight chance of validity to the songwheel -- meaning Bloody Tears (IIDX EDITION), or Blind Justice ~Torn Souls, Hurt Faiths~. Those....could be in DDRX, right?....right?... _________________
