|
|
Big news! Today marked the unveiling of Konami's official website for the US arcade version of Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2. The website is largely the same as the Japanese one, but with updated information to reflect the current state of the game.
However, the REAL shocker of this site is the posting of an unlock code for SuperNOVA 2 machines, regardless of whether they are hooked up to the e-AMUSEMENT network or not! The first code has now been released, which unlocks the songs "Moonster" and "Sunkiss Drop," the Nonstop course "A Midtown Night's Dream," and the Challenge course "jun."
Read more information...
Enter the following code on the title screen after you have inserted your credit(s) to activate the first unlock.

Someone try this on Mirror and see if the -jun- side comes up for Sunkiss Drop. I'm not guaranteeing that'll work, but it's just a random thought.
Also, if you try it, post so not everyone tries it, lol. _________________

Has anyone else checked out the character bios? Great stuff I swear! Some highlights.
Afro - Likes: Sweets (gotta have the chocolate!). <---I swear this is there.
Baby-Lon - Dislikes: Wet Dipers. Baby-Lon really is The Super Baby.
Now that he is getting older he can smile express his joy. <---This just makes me smile.
Julio - Hobby: Throwing stars, Morse code, and blowguns. <---Talk about some random 'ish. Seriously....Morse code? _________________

ARTIST COMMENT: SUNKiSSDROP/jun with Alison
What was that?! An English version?!
Yep!!!
The track branches when you select it!
The first branch is "SUNKiSSDROP -Alison Side-" and the second "SUNKiSSDROP - jun Side-."
That's right!
There's a version of the track that I sing on! ;-)
The lyrics are different, and even the arrangement has been changed a bit.
I hope you'll give 'em a listen and enjoy the differences.
I think this is the first time this branching system has ever been attempted in the DDR series.
I wanna get your adrenaline pumping even before the track begins!
ï¼junï¼
seems like we'll be able to select from the two |

I just tested it and got it to work. Although it only adds one version of Sunkiss Drop? The english one I think, did someone say something about two?
Also for anyone else who works at an arcade and wants to try it, you have to swipe a card or insert tokens to get it to work, it won't work if you use the key for service credits.
If anyone wants I'll post information about the new courses aswell. |

I have been waiting for Konami to unveil their unlock system and I pooped myself when they finally did. I ran down to my machine and checked it out. This video was made in under 10 minutes and it shows. I know Paranoia is not an unlock. I just threw it in the video for kicks. Enjoy! |
Rage's character profile:
He wants to realize the American Dream and open up his own Takoyaki (a Japanese pancake filled with Octopus) restaurant.
His friends are always saying how delicious his Takoyaki is ("We want more!" "We want more!").
Emi: "What?! What about dancing? Rage!?!?"
Rage: lol! No problem yo! I practice everyday. My dance moves are hotter than Takoyaki!!
Epic fail for Rage saying "lol" and saying "yo". |

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the best part about these unlock codes: they can be entered by the players themselves, without having to access the operator menu. No more playing on locked machines because of unhelpful arcade operators. Good job Konami, thanks for helping the 99% of your customers that play on machines without internet access _________________
