Wait, so you DON'T need an FC to get an AA on Extreme?

I always thought that in Extreme and Extreme 2, you had to get a ful combo to get an AA. But on youtube, I see a lot of people getting AAs with a good or a miss or something. Like DJ Sterf got an AA in this one video with a miss on TloM. And some other guy in another video got an AA on Maxx Unlimited with a boo. Can anyone explain this?

Thats only in the US CS versions of Extreme and Extreme2. Or is just Extreme2, i dont recall for Extreme

I believe it's only the following console versions that require a full combo for AA:
Max 2,
Extreme,
Extreme 2.

I once had one Great and one Good on a song... luckily it was MAX2 so the 93% for the AA still held. I consider that as good as getting 3 great, since I only missed 3 DP.

Well in ddr max (US ps2) i got 1 good on the song healing vision and I still got a AA.

if the song has freeze arrows you'll get higher chance of getting an AA even if you get some goods.
ex- the shining polaris in max 1.. I remember getting 2-3 goods but still got an AA because the o.k's that I got from the freeze arrows made up for it.

Score in later versions of the game determine your grade. In SN2, the breakdown (lulz get it?) is like this:

-AAA - 99% or more of total points
-AA - 95-99%
-A - 90(?)-95%

And so forth.
