|
|
The pad I got with my game is not very good... and I was wondering what the best kind of pad you can get at the store?
I'm not too crazy about online shopping so that is really out of the case.
Thanks in advance
The pad I have now is the DDR Game soft pad. It's alright, but it slips waayy too much.

The best ones to buy are the ones online, the store ones suck. Period. _________________

he didn't ask for the best pad to buy, he asked for the best pad you can buy at a store. Try to be a bit more helpful eh?
Anyhow i have a RedOctane Ignition 2.0 pad that i got years ago that still works perfectly (the ps2 cable of it anyhow). I think the pads out now are Ignition 3.0s which you should be able to find at gamestop. Stores like best buy and circuit city may even carry them, but you'd hafta check _________________

If it's RedOctane, get it.
If you're open to the idea, go to Gamestop and look for the ITG bundle. It's usually $60 and comes with 2 RedOctane softpads (not foam pads). I've had mine for about 15 months or so, and I only get the occasional pad miss.
If not, you can get the Ignition, but these are pretty expensive for pretty much the same pad with foam.
another option would be to get the gamestop softpad ($20) and mod it.
Walmart has a clone that works just as well, and is about the same price.
If you run into other pads, don't get them (especially any other foam pads)
If you get a decent softpad and mod it, you don't need to order online unless you want a metal pad. _________________

Thanks guys. Problem is, I live in Canada so there is no Gamestop, only EB Games which carries ONLY Gamestop's Universal Dance Pad.
I'll check Best Buy though... maybe they'll have :o |

no Walmart?
I couldn't find it at Best Buy's web site, but I did find a CF lol.
I doubt the stores have Ignitions, but there seems to be some other brand there. _________________

You forgot to mention the fact that the pads online are defective at least half of the time. Either that, or I just have bad luck. |
