Gotta let someone know I exist. XD

Name's Sh0rTi to you guys, and I started playing DDR two years ago, the summer before I started 8th Grade. The highest I can play is on Standard... except for some songs on Heavy, and two on Challenge. I have a PS2, both Extremes, and SuperNOVA, but I can't really play since the left arrow on one mat, and the down arrow on another crapped out on me. I mean really, I've gone through three mats in two years!

Guess I'll start posting more. =D

Hi, I'm Chris. I have been lurking here since November, when I got DDR Hottest Party and was looking on the internet for some tips.

Some friends of mine got me into the game when they invited me over last year and we played on their PS2. I was immediately hooked.

Been playing regularly for two months. I guess I suck because I still can't beat the computer at Super Samurai on Basic... Darn Groove Circuit mode...

I can do it at the arcade but I want/need a camera man/woman, because no one plays where I live besides 3 or 4 people litterally.

Hi - I've been playing for 4-5 years now. I'm in the Towson, MD area and really need a regular place to go to but seems like the Bmore area is lacking. I used to play in NJ a lot. A lot of the friends I used to play with have fallen out of it and I'm looking to get back in. I have about 40 AAAs on some easy stuff. The hardest one I have is probably Telephone Operator and I got that on chance just because I love the song and played it a lot. Anyone in the area looking to play more please let me know. Thanks

Hi folks

Yes, the title says it all.. TOTALLY green Newbie here, not just to DDR, but to Playstation anything ! So please, bear with this old fogey as I might ask some rather dumb questions - I'll try not to, I tend to do some research before sticking my foot in my mouth..

I've heard a LOT about DDR to get some exercise, and since I HATE workouts for the sake of workouts, and I LOVE to dance, I dove in and bought a PS2 with DDR Supernova 2 just yesterday. Now, I've always danced - jazz, tap, cloggin, C/W, and now ballroom, so I can pick up and follow a beat.

I got the thing all set up and after about 30 minutes of wondering why the game was going nutso on me when I was on the pad (my jeans were too long !), I finally got somewhere. I must say the scoring is rather befuddling, I still can't make any sense out of that score screen after you finish a song, other than the points I got. I went thru the Tutorial twice, flipped thru a number of songs and didn't do THAT bad, got a few A's

What I don't understand is why Konami doesn't put ANYTHING in the game instructions about scoring, or even much about each mode of play except a few sentences that weren't very enlightening. So, those are the types of questions I might be asking here if I can't find an answer.

I will say that there are a few songs in the default list that I find absolutely horrible, but I suppose I'll have to play them just to get thru them.

Hopefully I won't bug you all too much !!
