And I'm currently investing in a Blueshark right now. Even though I can go to the arcade on a daily basis, I want to play this at home, too. Im damned determined to have OML cleared before February. |
I was thinking about investing in a Blueshark as well. I love arcade play, but I like 45 minutes away from the machine, so it costs a lot in gas haha.
EDIT
Almost had a Quad set today haha.
If I ever play against you in a tournament, Soul, I'm choosing Typical Tropical (I almost always get 1 or 0) or Determinator |

Well I spent the last day traveling to New York. I'm gonna get almost no play time up here (I go to Canada to play) and am gonna gain at least 5 lbs. This kind of sucks and it's gonna set my stamina back a lot, but I'll see what I can do tomorrow. _________________

Gargoyle (Long Version) -- FIRST CLEAR -- 90.83
MAN, this was freaking tiring. I wasnt breathing hard at all at the end of it, but I felt so drained. Ugh.
Hmm... that's not a bad pick. Well, Determinator WONT BE THAT GARBAGE when I'm finished. Even with the footspeed AND stamina increases, I'm still screwing up, soooo... that means I've now FINALLY isolated the problem to pattern recognition and muscle memory... Let me bring it down to 138 BPM and work on that for awhile. _________________

I'm actually in Niagara Falls, New York right now. It's way out of the way from the Palisades and stuff so it kind of sucks. I might see DarkCore and Franco on Thursday though _________________

Spooty's getting back in the game! And still no bar (wootz).
Shoulda starred, but WOOO do I <3 our pads.
Played a round of 11's...
(again, <3 our pads. Should be able to star it with a lil work and a better pad day)
(lol pad mines. Last 11 was The Beginning. Woulda been a new record, but I effed up one of the bursts, got a full NC on it, and wound up with 92.xx. Whoops.)
But the most epic piece was...
And with that, the last of the 12's was slain.
Also: VerTex^2, failed 3-5ish seconds from the end. Next time... next time. Triples on Turn it On, Hand of Time, and My Life is so Crazy, but they had pad crap and I don't like recalcing...
So yeah, good day. _________________

Nice everything, but it seems like your July and Delirium scores should be switched around. Delirium is so much more draining.
But I guess hitting the up arrow every 3 seconds is hard to do no-bar (referring to July's candle runs). |

Played for the first time in a VERY LONG time. Only score was a 98.56 on Charlene, 44ex and a mine or two. I really need to start playing again. =/ _________________

Indeed, I beg to differ and say that Delirium is much easier than July. _________________

I've been possessed with trying to pass Vertex even though I still have a tough time with a lot of 11's (I think it's tons easier) and have an ~82% before the 612 BPM part. The beginning and slow parts are no problem for me (I can almost always FEC them), and the streams near the end are draining but I can finally read them. The problem is, I can't read that 612 BPM part, and I have a pretty full bar before I get to it... should I just memorize it? Is that my only option? ;_;
I'm a pretty low speed reader with poor reflexes so I 2x it. I'm not sure if I'd be able to read it 1.5x because of the slow parts, or even if it'd help me. Mini doesn't really help me either, and kills my FA. |

When my reading speed was a bit lower, I would do either 1x hallway or 1.5x hallway mini. After I got it up a bit, I now use either 1.5x hallway or 2x hallway mini.
Yeah, I like hallway in case you couldn't tell.
Memorizing the ending's always an option too; it's not too long and has pretty simple patterns. _________________

Memorizing the ending is probably the easiest thing. The patterns aren't that complex if you look at it so it should be fairly simple. _________________
