Only Catas are 9-footers. Most of the songs you've mentioned are 10 footers and beyond catas.
HVAM and Exotic Ethnic are both 9's.
Kind of easy ones if you ask me. Neither one has any chaos of note.

Yes. 1stMIX, 2ndMIX, and the SOLO mixes all capped out at 8 feet. Some of the songs from those mixes, however, did get upgraded to 9's later on (DROP OUT, for example).

HATE the crossovers on HVAM. i can't manage them some how.
Double Step them. They're easy to double step. I'm fairly low on the DDR food chain and I can get 30g on it FC without doing any crossovers. The reason you can't do them is 'cause they're actually spins, so memorise it or double step.

From what i've heard, one of the UMs also carried the foot names, which is where the title "Apocalyptic" for 10 footers came from...but someone would have to confirm that for me :/.


9s debuted on the club version. the original grad cyber, its another, ska a go go, its another, and luv to me were the first 5 "catastrophic" songs on singles. grad cyber and its another are also 9s on another double, as there was no maniac double at the time.

the apocalyptic term came from the challenge mode in the ultramixes. there are 10 difficulties for the challenges, ranging from simple(1 foot) to apocalyptic(what we would assume is the name of a 10 if they revive the names).

why? because its on the xbox? i'm pretty sure it has "dance dance revolution" in the title and is made by konami. i'm also pretty sure that all the 1:40 and under songs in it ended up in supernova, brilliant r-e-d seems pretty popular for a song that isnt actually ddr. its better than anything kcet has put out in the past couple years, thats for damn sure.
