When I go into SM, should I just be able to map the buttons by pressing them in the Keymapping feature? If so, when the pad is pluged in and installed, should it say that it is not connected under the controlers in the Control Panel on windows?

Yes, if it is working correctly it should show up in the Control Panel and you should be able to input the keys just like if it were a keyboard in the SM menu.

Just called CF and left a message. Also left them an email but no response yet. I requested for a shipping number. At the moment, it just says "Payment Received, Awaiting for shipment".

Is that what it should say when your CF pad is shipped? or should there be something else written on the CF web site in the status section?

Awaiting Shipment means it hasn't shipped yet, but when the shipper comes to pick it up it will. However, they may not update the status when it ships. Mine still says Awaiting Shipment even though it shipped last night according to the UPS tracking code. Email them asking if they have a shipping code. If it's UPS it will start with 1Z, in most cases, while the FedEx one will be all numbers. That's how you know if they tell you the wrong site.

I'm going tomorrow to get some plywood for a base (my basement is kind of uneven). Is that really all I need to do is put the pad on the plywood? My mom is wondering if that is even going to help because the plywood would still be on an uneven surface. I tried looking for tutorials and pictures, but I couldn't find anything useful.

Look back on the page just before this. I already posted instructions. Anyway..

My mat is in the next town over as of 7:45 PM Friday so it should come on Saturday (unless they only operate on weekdays).

In all my years of using UPS, I have never seen an item come early. Why? Well, if it seems like they're doing good in time, they'll just set it aside (I guess) and it won't go anywhere until it's on time, from my experience. I get angry seeing my package just sitting in some city for 12+ hours without leaving... annoying. frown.gif

I seriously hope you get it tomorrow, though. Just because I may have noted this doesn't mean you can't do it at all.

Lo and behold, you were right. Even though it had arrived nearby two days ago, it didn't get here until just before midnight, the day before the set arrival time. Hell, I was thinking it could have came here from where it was in about three hours, but it took them less than two when they finally did send it out. But they procrastinated either way. Those lazy asses. I could have had two days before school to use it, but no, they had to procrastinate. Oh well. It's in town, now. If they can't get it delivered on time I'm gonna be pretty pissed off.

And now my mat is here. I've been playing Doubles since I got it into the basement. It hurts my feet like hell (I played barefoot on my other mat, I'm trying to keep it that way because the shoes slow me down too much). I didn't get a USB cable with my control box. It's a box two square buttons for start and select, and just the PS2 plug. It's shaped so that the two sides are smaller and the center is raised. It has some kind of port on the front of it (looks like some kind of computer related port), but no cord to plug in. I assume this is where the USB plug is supposed to go? I don't know if they abandoned the USB plug thing or just didn't send me one because they were out or something.

Woohoo! Congrats.

But the lack of USB scares me. You see, mine ships out today or tomorrow, so if I don't get one I'm gonna be pretty disappointed... I'm gonna call them today.

Class and work everyday for this year and I'm supposed to get more hours at work soon. I don't see myself being able to use my mat very often (if at all), as my "free time" will be for homework.

So, if Agent is right about the port being USB, we can just buy a regular USB cable at Staples or something?

Do you think that UPS will carry the pad to 3rd floor? (no elevator). I had to have it delivered to my friend's house, since I'm away for the month. Is it difficult for one person to carry that 50-ish pound object?

Yes, it is difficult, especially considering the size of the box.

I didnt tried it yet cause I enjoy playing it on my PS2 and the PC is not in the same room yet but it should work fine with the drivers

Oh, so it DOES have USB? Phew. And here I emailed them about it and everything, haha. tongue.gif

So yeah, mine's supposed to ship today or tomorrow... so just as a note I'm gonna record opening it and stuff. Just for fun. And if something's wrong I'll have proof it wasn't me. tongue.gif

Ok, so I just have to buy a cord? I should already have one, actually, since my mother bought a printer but then returned it and I had to purchase her one to use with it. I just didn't recognize the port right away. They probably should have inserted a paper telling people this. And yeah, I couldn't even get it into my car without unscrewing the spare tire and my trunk and relocating it to the bottom of the trunk and then putting the mat in the backseat. Plus that box bruised my wrists when I was trying to drag it into the trunk the first time.

Well i finally received my mat. I ordered it on the 10th of June and received it on 22nd of August. It was early.... UPS said it was meant to come on 23rd of August. Anyho, im not complaining.

I know this has probably been mentioned before, but um... the sensitivity sucks! The pad cant register left and right arrow together at the same time when pressed. I know that theres alotta foam involved....Could it possibly be the foam that caused the in sensitivity?? (foam falling into the mat compartment) ???

Or do i keep on dancing on it to warm it up to get the sensitivity working??
