Playing DDR Universe with non-360 pads?

I have an ignition 2.0 and 3 xbox pads and an xbox-->USB converter I use for Stepmania. I just bought DDR universe by itself, and I was wondering before I open it, can I use my pads+converter to play or do I have to buy an xbox 360 pad?

You will need a 360 pad. The Xbox won't detect any old USB device as a proper 360 gamepad.

yea the 360 only read "Official Microsoft Licensed Products"


so go buy a madcatz pad for $30 somewhere
