And I've never even played it. Main reason is: DDR was the first dancing game of its kind, and the copy-cats should definitely not get more attention, yet in my local arcade, people have raped the machine to the point where it's falling apart, not to mention it used to be a DDR machine. Nobody's hardly EVER on DDR SuperNOVA. |

Your logic fails...the only reason you hate it is because it's a copy cat...retard. Even though it's a copy cat it's still amazing. And if people in your arcade have raped the machine and no one plays SN...wouldn't it cross your mind that EVERYONE LIKES ITG BETTER THAN DDR?? _________________

I didn't give you all the info. It's actually in a lower-working class neighborhood, and the SN is 4 tokens and the ITG is 3 tokens. lol At GameWorks, the SN gets raped, although they don't have an ITG machine. I really hate it though. Sure, the game may be good, but, 1) it's a copy-cat, 2) the speakers don't seem to have as clear and quality sound as the SN machine. |

I'm sorry - once again, I didn't give you all the info. I just went on vacation, and saw/heard an ITG2 dedicab that, I have to admit, had a better screen/T.V. than SN. I don't think the sound even matches up to SN though. |

Will you stop making topics?!
Christ, if you actually gave the game a try you'd notice that maybe it's better than DDR. Speakers are worse? Every hardware aspect of an ItG machine is better than a DDR machine.
Maybe if you actually gave some support to back this up I might consider what you're saying, despite the quality (read: lack of) in your other threads.
No one's saying you have to like it. But don't come on these boards and try to tell us that a game is bad when you haven't even played it. That's idiotic. _________________

There's no proof that the speakers are better in DDRSN. I'm just saying what my ears are telling me. When I was searching through an arcade machine website, it said under ITG2, "Over 65 new songs for a total of over 130 songs from new artists and familiar names." For ITG3, it said, "Over 80 new songs for a total of over 200+ songs from new artists and familiar names." The original SN has 301 songs, and with SN2 coming out with even more songs adding to the 301 songs for a total of around 340-350. I know it's kind of silly, and I'm taking this topic as a joke, but I just believe that the DDRSN machine is better than the ITG machines overall. ITG is just wishing it were DDR. |

Let's see what we had. We had a dead dancing community and confirmed reports that no DDR is coming back. Then ITG comes along; brand new songs, awesome interface, a cabinet that was brought to the 21st century... then DDR says, "Let's try and compete with this new "thang" calling In The Groove by rushing a mix that should have taken much more time and by reusing the ideas we've already used up." Yeeah.
And ITG is wishing it were DDR? Hmph.
Songs don't make the mix. In case you're riding the slow train, many DDR stepcharts are poorly made. At least, with ITG's charts, you have people who've been in the dancing community for a long time and know what the people want to play. That's what we got with ITG. A game that caters to the dance game player.
I'm also kinda taking this as a joke. I like SuperNOVA a lot (ITG2 is better, but still), and now I think I'm arguing just for the sake of being able to defend my position. Hehe. _________________

Dude, in general, I think itg's soundsystem is better... and usually it's turned up louder from what I've seen.
And saying that itg's a copy cat so I hate it is a REALLY friggin bad reason. Seriously, go spend a few hours playing itg and have an open mind. You're gonna like it. _________________

That's probably because SN is total shit. Assloads of watered down stepcharts, horrible boss songs, and poorly edited music. ITG, on the other hand, has good stepcharts with nice variety, a greater learning curve, quality music, and useful flash drive application.

HAHAHAHAHA.
This is great. Better than any of your other threads.
You know what...I hate Crunchwraps. And I've never even tried one. But I don't need to because I know this one guy on a dancing game forum who's named after them, and all he does is create useless threads. I think I'm going to email Taco Bell right now and give those dipshits a piece of my mind. _________________

Wow, the epitome of ITG-haters: Monsieur Crunchwrap.
Dude. Play ITG. I won't guarantee you'll love it, but at the very least I don't think you'll be basing you claims on such little evidence. _________________

Did no one else catch that he said the ITG machine (upgradeocab, which means really a DDR machine) had worse speakers than a DDR machine? _________________

He said when he was comparing the speakers, he was listening to an ITG dedicab somewhere else. _________________

Oh no, someone made a game superior to DDR in almost every way... Its totally unfair(oh wait Konami owns ITG... ) lets complain about it. I never even played it but because it gets more attention than DDR it must suck( oh wait). Conclusion: crunchwrap is a noob(being nice... i have like a million other words that would describe you ) Supernova is an utter piece of trash, you're retarded. Extreme was 100000x better than supernova is. |

How was Extreme better? It had a lot of crappy new songs, and the ones that were decent out of those new songs, they stuck in SN. Extreme's screen sucks, the sound sucks, let's not forget it's running off of a PS1, and SN made everything better, especially if you're into the different mixes of each song. Also, about the fact that ITG copied DDR, that's enough of a reason to say it's not as good. Look at Street Fighter. That was the original popular 2D fighter, and it still remains the best 2D fighter with SFIII: Third Strike. The other 2D fighters don't really match up to the quality of the game. Originality is very important. |
