I don't know if this has been posted yet but, how much noise does this thing generate the floor below you if you're stomping? I would reckon it's not even a good idea to be doing it on an upper floor in the first place, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Has anyone also tried layers of high density foam? _________________

What's the difference? I don't know anything about microswitches.....or arcade sensors for that matter. Enlighten me. _________________

Enlighten me. | Arcade sensors and current blueshark sensors use some wonky crystals that transmit a current under pressure. Microwitches are what are used for things like arcade buttons, keyboards, and other things, but they usually are not used for high-impact applications. (like DDR) _________________

The new version of the Blue Sharks coming out sometime after the X-Box 360 control box with better panel supports will also have a sturdier bar. |

Mymybox is now offering the 3" version of the Blueshark arcade metal pad without the bar for $349.99, about the same price as the out of stock 2" version. Here is the link.

And so far, these are in stock! All this happens after I reserve my 2" version of Blueshark. _________________

They said that they have no hard date, but they expect it to be out early this Fall. They're currently trying to set up pad tests at their location in California for all of their new designs (X-Box 360 control box, micro switch sensors, spring-based arrow cushions, stronger panel supports.) |

Thanks for that link. U can always "unreserve" right?
Btw the more inches or thickness it is, the better right? |

This one is the one I've been eyeing; can anyone reaffirm me that this isn't going to fall apart on me?
I don't want to drop over $400 on a pad that's just going to break after a while. |
