I've been on the varsity swim team for 3 years, going on 4.
I run 2 miles every morning.
I work out every day.
I'm in pretty decent shape.
I smoke the ganja on a regular basis.
I have a job...
...AND I PLAY DDR!
Oh shit like a triple threat. (jock, stoner, geek) |

So basically you don't care what people think of you, yet apply a stereotype to yourself used a lot in a derogatory nature based on one thing you do anyways?
I personally wonn't let others tell me what I am, or how I should think I am based on ONE thing I do. _________________

. . . I'm so glad I escaped the convoluted maze that is the teenage social hierarchy. Still, this thread looks like a good place to throw in bamboo.
If people were webpages, DDR players are shocksites. We do terrible, mind-scarring things to catchy, repetitive music. (The temptation to link a sample is almost unbearable, but risking a ban-hammer is keeping me at bay.) _________________

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day! **looks at clock** But, it's only been Thursday for a couple hours.
Anyways, on the whole geek thing, everybody that I know who plays DDR seem to be pretty geeky, but whatever. _________________

I just look at it as something that people do. I don't understand why we all of a sudden become targets for hecklers and whatnot, but in my six years of playing it has happened more that I'd it like to.
People just need to grow up and learn to be more tolerant of what other people do. And no I am nowhere close to being a geek. A DDR player? Yes! A geek? No.

What does my name have to do with anything. Don't pretend to think you can simply classify me because of my username. That's just stupid. I stand by original statement.

My friends say the same things I even PLAYED(!!!) DDR ex2 in band class.
It suked tho cuz I couldn't play on heavy!!I had to play on standard, random song, less than one foot from the screen(ugh I'm like a foot taller than the tv(on a stand) too!!)and I had to play Crazy In Love. _________________

^It's cuz you played the stupidest song in DDR and almost the world: Crazy in Love.
Still, you were better than everyone.
I wonder if this thread can make 20 or 25. _________________

How is DDR geeky? It's a game about hitting arrows with your feet. Wow. Sure, it looks stupid, but it's fun! After all, aren't geeks the opposite of stupid? |

Let's not go into semantics. I only got 5 hours of sleep last night and I really don't feel like rolling off any definitions. xP _________________
