Yeah, the sequal to Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! is coming out in just a few days! Anyone pre-order this yet? Once I get the money (about a few months), then I'm gonna get it, & also hear about how it is & if it's region-friendly. While we wait, let's visit the official website!

Ouendan 2 get! I just bought it 15 minutes ago (as in, in my hands) but I'm not gonna touch it until tomorrow since it's really late right now

. I'll give my impressions and maybe a song list as soon as I can.

I'd get it soon, but I'm savin' up to see Video Games Live in Detroit.

Is there any difference in the squads, besides looks & possibly their dance moves?

& WHAT DO THE CHEERLEADERS LOOK LIKE?!!

Alright! I just beat the game on, what I'm guessing, the medium difficulty setting. Here's the list of songs and vague level story for each that I came across:

1. Zenryoku Shounen (The first song that's highlighted on the songwheel for GitaDora V3)
*The guy from the first level of the prequel is back on the first level of the sequel. Due to a mishap by his younger brother, he has to quickly try to make it on time for a job interview (I think it's a job interview

).

2. POP STAR
*A doctor has to treat alot of patients (and inanimate objects

) while on a cruise ship.

3. RIRURA RIRUHA (Real Life, Real Heart)
*Two choir girls get together to recruit other girls into forming a chorus. Once formed, the founders take every opportunity to have the chorus practicing and to eventually be able to have a "golden voice" ready for their upcoming recital.

4. Okuru Kotoba
*A sumo wrestler trains to become the best of the best.

5. Julia ni Shoushin
*To win the heart of a lady, two opposing barbers have a contest to see who can provide the best haircut for their clientel.

6. VISTA
*A shoe salesman with too much supply and not enough demand gets sent to another planet to sell the rest of his stock to the residing aliens.

7. Go my way
An ex female pro-wresler has to do busy-work around her family's hot spring compound. The pottery maker from the prequel has a role in this level.

8. Shounen Heart (Eureka Seven's 2nd Opening theme)
*I don't quite understand the story on this level. I think it deals with some senile elderly guy going on different "quests" to regain his dying senses.

9. BANG!BANG!BAKANSU!
*An author that got hit with writer's block has to finish her story in 1 day! Story ideas strikes her from whomever happens to show up to her doorstep. Junior from the prequel has a cameo (just like in EBA)!

10. Kibun Joujou ^^
*Think of this level as a Teen Wolf parody. While on a date, a normal guy tries to keep from revealing his feral alter-ego to his girlfriend. But with a full moon and anything moon shaped that can trigger his furry rage, it won't be easy! The "^^" for the song name are suppose to be two "up" arrows.

11. Bambina
*A child attemps to not wet the bed for the night while having nightmares

. A stylized Mario and Luigi makes a cameo doing what their original job description implies, for once!

12. Believe
*That's right. It's the obligatory INiS game emotional level. I don't want to spoil this one for anybody but it's just as heartwarming as Ouendan 1 and EBA's respective levels.

13. Music Hour
*While performing on stage, a pop music idol gets taken hostage by a.....cow-themed gang? Anyways, it's up to 3 of his older crazed fans to save him.

14. Zoku
*Meowzilla (yes, from EBA) is crushing a nearby city and it's up to 3 entrepreneurs to join forces and take him down Voltron style!

15. COUNTDOWN
*The final stage is in two parts ala EBA. Like the games that came before it, the level spells doom for our heros and the entire earth population. In part one the power of the sun has somehow gone out of wack and causing glaciers to rain on the earth, crushing anything they happen to land on! Will our heroes prevail this time?

16. Sekai wa Sore wo Ai to Yobun da ze (Another song from GitaDora V3)
*Part two plays out REALLY close to how EBA's respective level plays out. For those that played EBA, trust me when I say that you'll get a sense of deja vu from the whole begining of the scenario. The song is not on the same level as "Ready Steady Go" but it still gives the whole point of the level's story across in that it makes you wants to scream "OSU!" to your DS

! The rivaling ouendans have to join forces in order to get everyone on earth to cheer enough to bring power back to the sun.

There are also some hidden songs that are unlocked in the same way as EBA. I got one of them for beating the game on medium. I'm pretty sure that the names of the rest of the hidden songs shown up on the end credits. Just to keep them hidden, I'm not gonna spoil it for you by revealing the names. You just have to buy the game and see for yourselves.

Yeah, Wiki helps.

Just about every feature from EBA is in Ouendan 2, correct? & you can remove the timer circles after getting TONS of points.

I just S Glamourous Sky and Believe on the 3rd difficulty. I'm having problems with Sekai wa Sore wo Ai to Yobun da ze

it's b.s. towards the 3rd part of the song. it's easy as hell on the first two part. can't wait for the cheer leader lvl and hidden mode.

This is interesting! According to Bemani Style, in JPN, if you take Ouendan 2 to a download koist, you can download the ELITE BEAT AGENTS as playable characters!! Also includes a cat. Someone fill me in on this, all I know about the cat is I think the sergent can wear a cat mask somehow....

Also, official Bambina music video. It's the bed-wetting stage. Gotta love the MV...Hope this somehow gets on Guitar Freaks/Drummania V5...I read the guy who did this song also did "Russian Roullete" for GF/DM, "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity" on DDR SN, Pop'n Music 13, & Gran Turismo, & "Thrill", which was the dodgeball stage in the 1st Ouendan! So MAYBE...It could be already on there...
