He only ever says anything nice in the Regional forums or accomplishment threads.

Then why doesn't he stay on the regional and accopmlishment threads? This is possibly the best topic on DDRFreak right now.

Well, if the Olympics won't take DDR as a sport, then why not MLG? I could see that happening.

okay... since people keep bumping this <_<

Why the heck does ddr need to be a sport? what does that get anyone? Just play the GAME and enjoy it. I don't understand why it matters to anyone what DDR is categorized as... Unless they need to justify it to themselves/others... in which case those people have problems anyway.

I think DDR should be an olympic sport. Why? If curling is an Olympic sport, sweeping should be an olympic sport. Heres some proof: http://youtube.com/watch?v=idSdnubrlds Seriously, what the frick was the olympic commitee thinking.

well maybe because most people dont have tourneys in their city and if DDR were to be an official sport, there would be a way higher chance that there would be a tourney. here in houston, we dont have any. frown.gif
it would be really nice to play against people that i never knew that live in my area, and that would be possible with a tourney.

Golf is hard. Isn't DDR and ITG hard also?

WTF!!!! golf is hard i mean come on you have to hit it the right way so it doesnt go into the trees and bunker type things dont forget about hitting it into lakes and dont forget about wind that could make your ball fly in all kinds of directions and the most annoying thing is putting.

but golf is hard AND it sucks......go soccer woot!

Thing about DDR though is... its too easy, if people have already AAA'd the entire game, im sure if it was some sort of "mainstream" competition... there would be even more people that would have done this. And DDR tournaments are boring as hell... everyone picking obscure offsync or offbeat charts to try and win. Its not a sport, its upper limit is too low. There is no room for improvement. Now if they say...had two people play ridiculous charts side by side one after the other until one of them gave up... then maybe that'd be a sport because you can always build more stamina/skill. But the timing aspect kinda kills its ability to be a real sport... its just a music game.
