So I went to TGA yesterday, and found the funniest thing EVER... IIDX runs on a WINDOWS CONSOLE!
I wonder how possible it would be to release IIDX for PC so people can get better at the game? |

Welcome to 2003 when IIDX 9th Style was released. Although to be fair IIDX GOLD runs on a newer PC.
And there are ways to do that, but piracy is a nono (and i have a mac anyway).

| I can't find this information anywhere... so does anybody know the requirements for the extra stages on IIDX RED and IIDX Happy Sky? (Oh, and GameFAQs' guide is incorrect for the extra stage on RED) |

Though I know it's months late, correction on this. DistorteD's theme color is silver, not black.

Well hello sticky thread, it's been a while!
For anyone who knows a lot about IIDX arcade machines or for someone who frequently visits a IIDX location (look, I didn't say an IIDX!). Could I get some dimensions please!? I was thinking of building a stand to put my controllers on, so I need to know:
1. The height from the stage/floor to the top of the key and turntable panel.
2. The distance between the P1 rightmost key to the P2 leftmost key.
I have searched many places but found no help, so I figure asking is the next best thing. Accurate dimensions only please, no estimates. |

Alright I just got the DistorteD HDD and im haveing ALOT of trouble getting the damn thing to work. So I was wondering if you could help me on this?
1. When I try to run iidxdevice15_ahn.exe I get an error saying "Run time error '429': ActiveX component cant create object."
2. I also tried running regular bm2dx_idxshiki_pe but then the game tries to load and then gives me this error. "error code: clock error" and it freezes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS: im running Vista if that has anything to do with it. Although iv heard of people running this on Vista so Im not sure thats the problem.

well the HDD's were made to run on XP which is most likely why you're getting an error. It can be tweaked as far as i know to run on vista but it takes a lot of work to do so and it would run better on XP anyhow

well the HDD's were made to run on XP which is most likely why you're getting an error. It can be tweaked as far as i know to run on vista but it takes a lot of work to do so and it would run better on XP anyhow |
Well, the only reason I tried it on vista is because it wouldnt work on XP either. When the game booted up it said "initializing backup ram complete, please release the test button". ok, but no matter how many times I try to press the test button it doesnt do anything. So, if you could explain in detail how you got yours working that'd be great.
