Some people have gotten theirs, yes, but I bet that CF has a plant where they make their pads in europe as well. I think it may be the north american company that is behind on orders. Kage, you are in the UK, right?

Yep! Its based in Sweden (Positive Gaming its called)

Took them less than a week to send it. Pretty good in my opinion considering how heavy the thing is. Its 2.9 stone (40 pounds) (20KG I believe)!

Good job it isn't', or I wouldn't have been able to get hold of one.
I wouldn't be able to get hold of a Blueshark pad for instance.

I've mostly sorted out the issue with the arrows now.

Turns out, even though I loosened the screws, they must have been bent still, and so were pressing down in the middle forcefully before hitting the metal.

I unloosened the screws last night so they were protruding out half way and put heavy objects in the middle.

Screwed them back in this morning, after tilting the sides up slightly, and there not doing it as much E1.gif

BTW... Why can't I create new threads? Yet I can post in existing ones? Says I've made my post limit for 24 hours all the time... :S

I got mine on Monday. Unfortunately, it did not work properly with gamecon through a DirectPad Pro interface under Linux. But, the control box has a USB port, so I grabbed a USB cable and plugged in that way, and that worked fine in Linux+Stepmania without any configuration. It is responsive and the overall build quality seems good, although I haven't had much time to play it, with school and work and all. I'll tell you if any issues arise.

I have one of the new control boxes with the USB port. However, I can't get it to work on my computer. I run Windows XP. Is there a special driver I need to download? I would check the Cobaltflux forum, but it appears to be down. Thanks!

Its set to work as an Xbox 360 controller in Windows.

To make this work, you'll need the software.

Go here, and download this E1.gif

Does anyone know what the deal is with the CF forums? I want to go on them a read the pad cleaning guide. I wonder if so many people were writing bad things about the recent CFs that they decided to take the forums down.

I think what happened had nothing to do with the negative feedback of late. As I understand it, the board became overrun with spambots, and for reason they took down the forums rather than update the software (Which would've fixed the problem).

Anyway, I actually just cleaned my pad not long ago, and I think I remember most of what the guide said if you want it (Well, my version of it). No pictures from me, unfortunately.

If I remember the details right, it went like this...

It started when the forums began to get a lot of spam. A few guys tracked down an admin who hadn't posted in months, and he gave a few people moderator abilities so they could delete the spam. This worked for a little while, but the spam kept increasing and soon the mods were getting tired of spending tons of time deleting it. At some point we all moved over to a temporary forum, but soon moved back because (if I remember right) the mods thought they had the spam under control. However, it still kept getting worse. Tons of spam bots signed up every day and posted all over the place. Some of them even PM'd people. A few people contacted CF about the problem, saying that the forums needed to be upgraded. After CF did nothing about it, the old forum was locked completely and we all moved to here. Recently, the old forums just stopped working. I don't know if CF took the boards down or what, but unfortunately, now there's no link to the new forums on their site.

So um, is it bad that awhile ago I was watching Family Guy, and when Quagmire came on, I thought something to the effect of "Whoa, It's AA Bob!" (I don't remember if the exact thought was "It's AA Bob" or "It's AA Bob's avatar", but I don't think it matters in this case)?
