I thought Filefront had all the files. o.O Anyway, yeah get the others off SMO Forums then or something. xD

Well is disregard one of those spread simfiles? some files just cant be done on index.

speed really has nothing to do with ma. pa yes tho. ma is about control and keeping beat which is too hard so screw it.
and darkcore for fast songs like 250bpm+ i guess you can look for minipatterns especially stuff that looks like minijacks inside the stream. also keep your eyes focused closer to the bottom of the screen a little bit below where it says the judgement. dunno if it helps but yea try it out |

They don't. You'll find that the hardcore SM community is pretty much separate from the greater part of the DDR community.
Also, what sam said about speed and MA is correct. You'll find a lot of SM players who can SDP some pretty tricky stuff and suck at songs like Please Listen and Disregard. Likewise there are people who are awesome as fast stuff who can't MA anything.
One of the best players, ThoaR, has godly speed, but has mediocre MA on slower songs. |

the slower the song the harder it is to MA
Is that common among spread players? Or maybe I'm just still inexperianced |

For me (and probably quite a few of you), the in between songs are easiest to MA.

It depends on the player. Some people are used to hitting fast stuff accurately and have trouble concentrating when the song is slower than what they normally play.
EDIT: Devon > Nice job quadding Jack, try playing it on higher music rates and see how you do. It's good jackhammer practice. Also, if you play four-fingered, try the Oni steps from KBMP 1.5 if you have them. |
