Am I the only classic DDRer?

Classic as in, I play the PS1 versions. I love Konamix, more so than the newer ones (excluding SuperNOVA... that's the best installment yet, imo). The song list, although limited, is so much better than what you would find on Extreme or Extreme 2.

Don't think I've been playing it since it was the current installment, I've only been playing Konamix since early October 06.

I've been able to get an A on every song on basic except Dead End and Leading Cyber... which I'll get an A on as soon as I take the time to try.

I play on "very hard" settings, which I believe brings it up to the current standards, right?

If there are any other Konamix players, what's your favorite song? Mine would be Look to the Sky, although the stepfile is rather easy. My favorite stepfile though would be Dead End on maniac.

The songs I can't do on maniac (I've beaten them all at least once, but with luck rather than skill) are Orion.78, Leading Cyber and Dynamite Rave.

I don't get the point of this thread, you ask a question, then say accomplishments, then talk about mods.

What are you getting at? I get the classic part, but apparently is playing on basic supposed to be classic?

Yes, out of the thousands, potentially millions, of DDR players out there, you're the only one that plays PS1 DDR.

Except that I still play 5th Mix every now and then. Oops, there goes your thunder.

Hate to steal more thunder, but my favorite is 4th mix, with 5th mix in a very close 2nd.

But it's very nice to still see old-school players. A lot of the pre-MAX songs are, IMHO, AWESOME!
