DDR for Gameboy was absolute crap, although DS isn't as limited.

Are you guys sure it can't detect jumps? Like, it can't detect two styluses[1] touching it at the same time? Because I know of "hardcore" people who played Trauma Center for the DS with two styluses. Although I don't know if the advantage from that requires that you not confuse it by touching both at the same time.

It might be styli, I don't know. I suppose it's possible to hit jumps perfectly, although it might be tricky. In which case they could just enlarge the timing window for jumps like ITG does with hands.

The DS's touch screen isn't designed to be touched in 2 places at once.
Besides that, am I the only person who thinks that DDR for the DS is not a good idea? I mean, EBA and Ouendan are fun because they take advantage of the entire screen, but DDR would only have 4 parts to go on.

Which is why you'd treat jumps as flams to get Perfects on them.

Maybe you just don't need to be an egotist then.. 
I think it's a dumb idea as well, mostly because you play DDR with..you know..your feet. If it's for the DS you might as well just call it Stepmania DS or Finger Finger Revolution.

If they actually go through with somethin like that, yes.
But I think Konami might know a bit better than to just push them out on handhelds now too..I think beatmania would be a better choice personally.

I think the only one that it might get compared to for most DS owners is Elite Beat Agents..so I think it will get by most criticism as long as it can hold itself up and not suck.
