open up the song options menu on the song select screen (hit start)
rotate the turntable to activate the score graph (the longer string of characters should be highlighted)

hit select if you want the ghost number to appear too

Here's an easier way..

press start when selecting a song and holding on select you'll see your score overall if you want to have your own ghost then turn the turntable one. You'll see it when you play.
