if i have a song that has not yet been synched for ITG, is the correct synching for it pushing F12 twice in the stepmania editor? i hope that made sense.

You could also use f11 it all depends if the song is late or early and you could push it more than twice.

IIRC, F7/F8 decrease/increase the length of a pause, F9/F10 decrease/increase BPM, and F11/F12 decrease/increase offset. If the syncing is constant, just the offset is wrong. If not, you (also) need to change the BPM or a pause.

I think he meant that if a song is perfectly onsync for stepmania, would he need to adjust the offset by hitting F12 twice to have it perfectly onsync for an ITG machine.

Too bad this isn't true, since most PCs will have different offsets anyways...
