See if loosening the screws on each arrow helps (only loosen a little) - just my guess because this helps wth Cobalt Flux. Or perhaps it's the other way around and you need to tighten them.

If all else fails, maybe open up each arrow and just check it out inside. Make sure all is well and then screw it back together.

Sorry you're not enjoying your pad! frown.gif

OH! ALSO - are you using any kind of converter? (PS2 - USB or something?) If so, THAT could be the problem too.

Ordered my blue shark this morning and just got my tracking number!!! WOOO HOO! Says it will ship in 2-3 days. I just can't wait!!

Dang President's Day! I think that's what's holding up the shipment... Oh well. Funny though - FedEX is shipping it even though I chose 'UPS' ground service.

Actually, I'm glad the United Package Smashers are not bringing me my pad! I can't stand UPS!

4am>>>>Trust me, FedEx isn't much better with handling packages. They really don't give a damn about stuff, and will probably give you your pad with a smashed up box. (Fine pad though)

It's really sad isn't it? One day, UPS brought a brand new TV to my boss at work and the box was smashed all to hell. The TV was broken. They took it back and brought another one. It was also smashed and broken...

WTF frust.gif

EDIT:

QUESTION ABOUT BLUESHARK PADS WITH BAR:
It says it comes "fully assembled" - does that mean with the bar attached? Seems like that would make for a HUGE box.

Hey check it out! Is it just me or did they update the description for the blueshark on this page? PC, XBOX, PS1, PS2 and GameCube compatible???

Didn't notice this when I ordered this morning. They still only have the PS1, PS2 and XBOX choices when ordering. I emailed them about this.

http://www.mymybox.com/index.html

I wonder if my pad will have multiple platform support??? Sure hope so... Otherwise, it's false advertising. frust.gif

Well, i allready tried loosening or tighten the screws. But that wont really help with the problem. And i'm not using any converter.

So any1 with a Nexen here, dont you have the same problem? The panels just have to bend way, and way to much to make contact with the bottem layer. Its jsut a design error i think. I dont know how everybody else can stand this.

Anyhow, i think i'm going to return it, and get myself a TX6500. Hope that pad doesnt have the same problem...

Hey guys! Just got ANOTHER email from MYMYBOX:

Hello

last 2 months, we were short in our staff, two more people joined our staff as sales and customer
service team.

Now are responding our customer email little bit faster than before. However, we are not able to
do phone customer service more efficiently due to the new telephone system. Two of our telephone
lines are prertty much busy all the time due to many phone calls. if we have a time, we are
returning the phone calls that we missed.

We will do our best to serve our cusomters.

thank you for your understanding !

we will be working on saturday until next week to take care of our holiday season customers.

thank you and have a good weekend.

Yeah. I'm glad I chose a blueshark. I just don't think it gets any better than that.

As soon as I receive my unit (in about a week prolly), I'll post a full review if anyone is interested! E1.gif

yes, i also have a nexen *looks at sig* and yea i have the same problems.

the velcro were too thick, so i opened up every panel and took off the top velcro to make it thinner and bends less
though this does not make it more sensitive or anything like that

and yes mine also makes random triggers "when i have hit the panel, and release it again, it also registers another hit. "
one day this problem happens to my left panel, the next day it happened to my right

i really wish i can get a refund for my pad but i cant, so im sending my nexen back and upgrade to a BS
i encourage you to do the same thing

My Blueshark came today!! I'm so happy. biggrin.gif Set up everything but screwing in the bar, have to wait for my dad for that, but since my pad is right up against my bed post I am just leaning the bar against it. So far the pad is great, will write a more detailed review later. First song I played, Xepher Oni. I got a AA with 32 greats 1 good, and 4 misses. All the NC's were me, and the 32 greats was an all time high record for me. So far the pad works like a dream, only issue is bar messes me up since it wobbles so much. But once I screw it in that will fix some of it. More to come later!! biggrin.gif

So I bought a nexen around mid December
Two days later down arrow became very bad at responding to steps

Contacted mymybox once, told me they were sending a new pad
Obviously bull crap

Tried to contact them numerous times
Never can get though etc

So i've given up on mymybox and I've decided to fix this problem on my own

Thing is, i've taken the arrow apart and I have no clue what I'm looking at, what the problem is or what to do

All I know is the down arrow only works sometimes

So, I'm willing to take whatever measures necessary to fix my pad, being I don't want to throw my 260$ away for nothing

Please, could anyone point me in the right direction??

Could it be the actually place the wire is running to?
Or do I have to take my arrow apart and mess with the sensor?

a nexen DDR pad is really simple how it works...here it is

the wire is attatched to a sheet of metal. when that sheet metal touches a conductor(in this case, another piece of sheet metal), it responds. easy, no?

so, my guess is faulty wiring. look at the down arrows wire. if you see any rips in the wire covering or anything that looks like it could be a problem, simply cover it with electrical tape. hopefully, the nexen is easy to unassemble, because if not, o boy this is gonna be one hell of a project for you!!

FedEx has 'comitted' to delivering my blueshark tomorrow! I actually had to call to make sure it wasn't a mistake... 2 days ground shipping from California to Colorado... Didn't expect it. However, my EMU USB2 may not be here before the pad! I even ordered it sooner.

Wouldn't it suck if I end up with a pad and no ability to play because I'm waiting for my USB converter? E1.gif

Lucky... I had to wait about a month for mine... but it was undoubtedly worth it...
