I have a super dual box advance (http://www.game-accessory.com/products/PC/PC026.htm) and a react dance pad (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7802933&type=product&id=1142293794986)
which tells me to hold up+start+select to get in to dance pad mode, but it doesnt seem to work no matter what I do... I've tried numerous amounts of drivers, but it still wont work |

If you still are having issues, I recommend disabling the V-sync. It at least helped a little more for me. Also, don't forget the up+start+select combination. |

I just bought the bns adapter (http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo/45/VG-PS-USB2X1/) to use with stepmania and my bns foam insert pad
However, I cannot get the up+start+select code to work
each button works fine when its pressed byitself but two button combos wont register
I didnt receive a floppy or nething to dl the driver so I had to google one
Bns gave me a black triangular converter instead of the clear one they show on their site
Maybe Im setting it up wrong? I got the drivers, turned off automap in sm, and mapped the joy configs for left, right,up,down in sm
Do I need to calibrate it some how? The control panel -> joystick calibration didnt work for me
Any idea how I could get this to work? I've emailed them twice already but havent received a response
Thanks _________________

I am receiving a Cobalt Flux soon and I am hoping to use it to play Ultramixes 1-4. Which PS2 to XBox adapters have worked for you (even if you don't use a Cobalt Flux)? Thanks. |

I've heard about a "start, select, up" code to use for adaptors. When should you enter this code? |

I have a Super Joy Box 13 that registers on my control panel but it doesn't work on SM. What do I need to do to make my pad register on SM? _________________

I know very little about PC adaptors, but have you tried pressing start, select, up at the same time?
Adaptors are really frustrating because sometimes they don't work at all and sometimes they give you a ton of lag. I'm currently trying to find an adaptor to use my Flux on my XBox. I've already tried two adapters that don't work.
If it still doesn't work, you might have to buy another adaptor. Good luck! |

I have this pad.
http://www.ddrstation.com/ddrexandpsxo.html
I have this adapter.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000F6BGXY/sr=8-1/qid=1156479647/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-4292708-2471232?ie=UTF8
Here's the problem, I connect PS2 controller to port one, it works, I hook up the pad in port 2, nothing works, (neither port 1 or 2) I'm in the configuration screen/Calibration screen for the controller and I disconnect the pad and instantly port one works again, I try only connecting the pad to port 1 alone and still nothing works, what can I try to do? I just ordered the adapter through the Internet and if my last resort is to send it back, I would like it if someone can post up the best-of-the-best adapter, regardless of how much it costs.
Thanks for any help. |

well this question is gonna have to be in both adapter threads. anyway, i bought this one off ebay and i'm no longer sure if it will serve its purpose or not. what i'm looking to do is connect my CF Pad (still on its way in the mail) to my PC. i know that'll probly work but i don't know if this particular adapter supports the D-Pad arrows as seperate buttons or an axis.

I just received my Super Joy Box 5 Pro (will post a picture later), and it seems to work. There's a bit of lag (hence my topic on this board), but that's nothing adjusting the timing windows on the songs doesn't fix. And frankly I think it might be the Cobalt Flux itself, since I have to step a bit early on the PS2 games with it as well.
I do have one strange problem with a couple of the ports "machine gunning" everything it registers, but it seems to have cut it out, so everything's cool. Of course, this is the first day I've had it, so I'llk keep you posted. _________________

They're both the correct one, Gekko. _________________

I have a problem with the Groove 2.4 theme mapping pad keys in the Stepmania CVS 3.95
so...I messed a bit with the ini file, trying to MANUALLY map these stupid keys...they remain unmapped...and Groove 2.4 in it's INFINITE wisdom, doesn't give you a nice little keymapping menu. Any idea on how I can fix this?
(NOTE:Tried using Joy1_*whatever* for each key as it corresponded in control panel...it failed. So, any help?)
It's a BNSUSA Fusion Arcade pad, metal, and the COMPUTER sees it, just not Stepmania. _________________
