Okay, So i've been playing SM for a while now, it's actually what got me back into DDR, I have some question
The the speed mod options, I have 1, 1.5x 2x 5x 8x 10x and C200 C400 and C800
What the hell is C 200, C400 and C800? I haven't played them, fearing they are like some UB3R speed mod.
Also, My arrows are in the center of the screen, not the left, not the right, the center. how do I change this? |

Actually, the C-Mods are used to keep a steady BPM throughout the song so the stops, slowdowns, speedups, etc., are all eliminated.
C200 keeps a slow non-changing BPM.
C400 keeps a normal non-changing BPM.
C800 keeps a fast non-changing BPM. |

As for arrows in the center, I remember that there was an option to change that, in Stepmania 4.0 at least. I can't remember where it is, though. Sorry. _________________

C-Mods are basic "Speed Modifiers" that eliminate all BPM Changes and Freezes. They come in a default variety. Custom C-Mods can be added by changing you theme's metrics. Some themes even come with built-in C-Mods. They are useful for technically challenging step charts.
The reason why your arrows are in the center is simple. You have probably enables "Solo Singles" in your Options. Turn this setting off, as it centers your arrows, as in DDR Solo Mode. I believe it is under "Machine Options." _________________

the C stands for constant, and the number is the bpm. so C400 makes any song scroll at a constant 400bpm. _________________

In The Groove also has C Mods, but if you use them on a song with pauses or tempo changes, you are ineligible for ranking. _________________

No, solo singles are under Gameplay Options. But you're close. And there are no stupid questions, only stupid people. _________________
