Woah Woah Woah! Slow down man!
First of all, anything on Ebay for pads is always cheap. 3rd party pads always look different compared to brand name pads.
Second, RedOctane is the company that makes the Ignition dance pad, and there is no 4.0 dance pad.
Thats not even an ignition pad. Sellers made up the numbers and slapped "Ignition" in front of it. _________________

Can you recommend me a site where I can find ddr premium pads (hard foam) because im just a student and the pads have to be easy on the wallet (max I am willing to go is 75 bucks without shipping to canada) ARRRG crap, im so mad now..... |

Your best bet (if your pads from Ebay don't last) is to get a BNS Pad Here. The thread about them Here has good reviews about them. A single pad is half the price of the Ignitions, with way better quality. And I never said the Ebay pads were junk. I just wouldn't depend on them too heavily. _________________

Hey again
I asked the seller about the ddr pad how 4.0 didn't exist, he told me 2.5 and 4.0, it's all the same. Well now my question is how is the 2.5 ignition pad?? All i've been using up to date were softpads on carpet, and finally I just can't stand then anymore, so now these are the second "deluxe" pad I bought, the first being the madcatz one (which I returned 15 mins later because it just plain sucked hard) and the ignition pads. Hope they hold up. O yeah, does 2.5 ignition pads even exist?? lol it would suck if it was a fake arrg. |

thats the official website of the ignition pad. its version 3.0 so in theory a 2.5 could exsist, but the ones you linked are not ignitions. they are just foam pad that someone put "Ignition" in hopes that when people are searching for a real ignition they find his and dont know the difference. _________________

of course, i think red octane just slapped the ignition name on the topway pads. the only extra thing you get is the warranty. |

Technically, I heard that the pink and blue ignitions were 2.0's and the 3.0's are actually 2.1's, so no 2.5 exists. Its made up yet again.
People just want your money. _________________

No clickie, eBay pads are always a bad idea. Go get a BNS pad. _________________

Like I said before:
its not an Ignition. Why would anybody want to buy an ignition anyway? They suck (from experience) _________________

aw crap lol.... so they are junk, poopy, i actually thought the only good place to buy pads are from ebay because all the good pads are never sold in ebgames or w.e other store. I went blindly into buying hardfoam pads and I guess ima pay the price. Thx alot tho for your help |

the fact that they're china-made no-name brand is probably the reason why you can't find it at ebgames. They at least have to be somewhat branded, like madcatz (even though they sorta suck too) |

Because they're actually made by a big company and they look like they are going to last you. And davidyko has had two Ignition 2.0's and they've been working fine for three years; explain that? |

Get an Ignition 2 or a BNS DX Extreme pad, because those are the really nice ones. I've played on both an Ignition 2 and an Ignition 3, and the 2 was much better. I played on it at this place near my friend's house, they have computers and Xbox's and stuff, and it's pretty much a huge gaming center. I played on their regularly played and stomped on Ignition 2's and they worked flawlessly. However, I got an Ignition 3 once, expecting it to be even better than the 2, but I was wrong. It broke. In fact, it didn't even have time to break, it came broken. So yeah, if your gonna get an Ignition pad, go with the Ignition 2 if you can get ahold of one. _________________
