Arrows not working

I just bougt a fusion mat (well, it got here today) and I tried it immediately, but it seems like it's giving me random boos. I think I saw somewhere that I have to hit certain buttons to get it to work right with the PS2, but I don't remember.
Any ideas?

Random Boos? Sometimes you may be hitting the corner buttons while you're trying to hit the arrows, which causes problems. Go into Options / Controller Options / Dance Play Settings and turn it off. This feature isn't available for the DDR Extreme (US version) though.

Ha, thanks a lot david.

There aren't corner arrows that i know of. I saw somewhere that there were certain buttons you had to hit when you plugged the mat in to get it to be compatible with whatever system you were playing it on. Problem is, I can't find that site.

I dunno. I'll try it again.
