Hello, I'm Lish. I've only been playing DDR for two weeks, but I've advanced pretty well already and I hope to someday play as well as everyone else! I usually play in Stockton, CA at Whimsey, but sometimes I play in Modesto, CA at Boomers or Funworks. I go to Delta College and I'm a 22 year old female. I like music, reading, writing, Japanese, video games and role playing. Hopefully I'll be transferring to UC Davis next semester. Nice to meet you all! |

HI!
Been lurking for a while and just signed up today. I suppose I am somewhat of a DDR freak although I suck at the game.
I have DDR Extreme, Extreme 2, and SuperNOVA on PS2 and play for an hour every morning for exercise.
I suppose I became a freak when I bought my first two metal pads about 9 months ago.
I'm PG316, and I'm a DDR Freak. _________________

Hello everybody! My name is Matt. Half of my life is juggling and I can't get enough so I'm a Juggle Junkie! The other half is DDR, and that's why I signed up here. I'm working hard to get those 10-footers, and I'm in love with SuperNOVA. Super-Max-Me Mix: w00t! So, I'm sure I'm going to enjoy being a part of this community; look for me on the boards and on the pad!

Hi
I' m Peter and I live in Belgium(Europe). I started playing DDR one year ago and first discovered it on ATEI 2005 when the new DS Fushion was showed there. Playing DDR is just for fun and to keep in shape, I' m a good medium player and some heavy' s are starting to work. |

Hey, guys. I'm Meredith, also known as Sin, Loki, Pomme, and Merf. I'm 16, I live in Woodstock, Georgia (soon to be Orlando, FL), and I've been playing DDR for about 2 and a half years. I own every PS2 DDR game. I don't have a metal pad because my nightmarishly fat cousin broke it attempting Dynamite Rave on Heavy. I want to kick him in the nads, but my foot would've gotten lodged in the fat-fold. Dx I mostly play at USPlay (ITG2), Mountasia(DDRX), and Malibu Grand Prix(DDRX2), or at home. Love playing with friends at home! No lines and it's free. :]
When I'm not burning holes in arrows I'm on my Athlon 64 [<3] Downloading, making music, looking through my photography folders, drawing (oekaki), and writing. I make layouts and skins. Ask me nicely and I might help you out. Other than that I enjoy taking short walks on long peirs, punching infants, kicking puppies, upper-decking local restroom toilets, looking at things on LCD screens, collecting metal things, and being with people I love.
My outlook on life expressed in 3 three word sentences: "Bring it on." "Let's touch it." and "What happens next?"
That's me in a nutshell. Wee. _________________

Hii. I'm Arielle aka Bam (for my Bam-like personality). I live in Chicago, Illinois. I've been playing DDR for almost three years. I own all PS2 DDR games and two dance mats. I love DDR with a passion and I attempt to get better everyday. I am on Standard and I can do some songs on Heavy. I love playing video games. My favorite genre is Survival Horror (i.e. Resident Evil, Silent Hill). I enjoy other games also such as Tekken series, Final Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts series, Devil May Cry series and Mortal Kombat series. I still love to play my Pokemon games even though I don't have any of the new ones. I love animes and mangas. My favorites are InuYasha, FullMetal Alchemist, Naruto, Pokemon, Case Closed, Dragon Ball Z, and Yu-Gi-Oh!. I love watching Adult Swim also. I like Family Guy because Stewie is so adorable. I am a decent artist but I am trying to get better. I like drawing anime characters. I am working on Yuna from FF and Nina Williams from Tekken. I love rock music and I want to be in a band. I am currently learning to play the guitar, drums, and piano. I consider myself a "pariah" since I, along with my brother, are different from our family. I like to be unique and different.
I live by Kurt Cobain's (RIP<333) words: "I'd rather be hated for who I am than be loved for who I am not." |

I'm not entirely sure why I haven't ever posted in this thread and I'm not entirely sure why I am now, but here goes!
My name is John Gallagher and I am from Long Island, NY. I have been playing DDR for almost 5 years now. However, I haven't played consistently for all 5. During the first two or so, I took a really long break because of school and junk. I have been playing in tournaments for about 2 years. I have never won a tournament, which I'm a little disappointed to say, but I mainly go to take videos, pictures and to just hang out with the lower NY players. I have run a few tournaments on Long Island and mostly all of them have had very nice turnouts.
But enough about DDR. More about other stuff. I like to play different types of games ranging from fighting to RPGs. I'm a big fan of Street Fighter II and III, and the Tekken series. I also love Soul Calibur. I am a huge Final Fantasy fan as well as Zelda. I used to have the world record for fastest 100% completion time for A Link to the Past, until someone absolutely RAPED it by 10 minutes. I try to be the first to do a lot of things. Everything is a race to me. I talk fast and I drive fast. I hate bullshit that people start on forums, especially in the NY regional boards. I hate people who lie about scores and try to back that lie even though they're caught in the act. I have no respect for liars and cheaters. That's basically all I really care about typing. Hey! My Names Becky. I'm fourteen and from Berlin, NY. I just started really getting addicted to DDR. Its amazingly fun. I really wanna get better at it, and still have fun. I play usually at Berkshire Mall when I get over there. Living up on this mountain in the middle of nowhere sucks. Hoping to get the game so I can get better at it. Also might start playing at the East Greenbush YMCA (Im pretty sure they have the game there, I saw a kid playing it one day.) Um yeah thats pretty much it =D |

Hi all. My name is Angie. I'm not new to the site but I just joined so I could post messages. I am another DDR addict. I've been playing for about 6-8 months now. My sister's bf brought the game over and they were playing and I wasn't interested in making a fool of myself in front of others lol but when I was alone, I tried it and from watching them play so many times I ended up passing Butterfly with a B. (from Extreme2) I fell in love with the game of course, got songs stuck in my head, saw arrows when I tried to sleep and yes, when I hear dance music I think in arrows lol. Now I own Supernova and I just picked up DDRMax2 (yeah I know it's old but I love it anyways) and I've been looking for Extreme2 since I absolutely love the songs on it.
I've only played the arcade twice and it was fun but I like it better at home. (Although having an audience who think's you're great is awesome lol)
Anyways I'm glad to be here to chat about my little obsession

Hello everyone. I'd rather not share my first name, but I will say I'm okay with a dance pad, but even better with a controller. |

I'm so glad that the ddr community is still growing haha... I'm getting people at my school addicted
ANYWAY, hi. They call me noc or Dave. I'm a Jr in HS. I started DDR around mid spring this year because it looked fun at the fitness room. I wasn't too into it, until I saw some kid play HVAM at the arcades. That's when I decided to get serious.
I didn't get to play during the summer because I WASTED my money on an ignition 3.0 (please don't do that). I ended up doing that plywood modding on a softpad and it works fine.
Over here in DE, there's not many hardcore ddr players... I've only seen a few that can do well on catas. I can pass a few catas myself, but I'm not ready to AA them yet. My goals would be to AA my fav catas and work on songs with chaos. |

Hidely-ho, fellow neighbourinos.
My name is Yacob and I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I'm 15 and I have an autistic brother who's 16. My ancestry is Ethiopian and I'm a first (second?) generation Canadian. My dad left Ethiopia in 1973 and my mom in 1979 or so. They've been married for 25 years last May. I only play StepMania because I don't have any console DDR games. I really, really love playing in arcades if I can. I can't wait to drive. That is all. _________________
