From what I've gathered no. Apparently those videos are being ran with an mk6 in there (the same board used in zero). So you're fine for upgrading. _________________

Added all the new details which have popped up in the last day or so, but I bet there's still way more to go. _________________

I'm in Korea right now; I can't find NX at any of the arcade that I used to frequent for some Zeroness. People on the Korean community board at www.piugame.com are quite disappointed because the location tests are apparently held only in Mexico as of yet, and there is no NX at G* either. (In fact, the entire arcade game division of G* has been canceled due to some serious business/legal scandal around a particular slot/gambling machine--ë°ë¤ì´ì¼ê¸°--which tarnished reputation of pretty much the whole arcade game industry in Korea. Boo. -_-)
I will try to make it to PIU2006 next weekend (11/19) and see if they reveal NX there, but so far the chance seems slim. _-_

Sorry to plug a site, but PumpHaven in ph-online.net will be getting the new K-Pops up and running soon (with help from lots of people around the PIU world community), so you can hear what the new K-Pops sounds like.
I've heard some of them, and I have to say this new songlist is amazing since they're almost ALL good (might be better than some of the Zero premieres too)!
And this is coming from a PIU player who started in the year 2000 on O.B.G. and Perfect Collection. _________________

Blue Kun did you say that there is no arcade games at G*???
ì´ë ê²?? stupid ê°ìëë.
ahh well there are other reasons to go to G* ^^ hehehe.
I have a pretty good feeling NX will be unvealed at Lotteworld at WPF2006. I know the past 2 years they have unvealed the new versions at their major events. Exceed 2 was unvealed at Gosuwon 2004, and Zero was previewed at wpf2005. They may unveal the NX because i know the game is completely finished. I have some friends at Andamiro maybe i will give them a call.
Well I will be at Kintex G* on Saturday and Lotteworld on Sunday c you there. |

Pics+info please. But in seriousness, are you one of the official visitors for WPF, or did you just happen to be in Korea at a good time? _________________

Yeah, as said, Turkeyslam tracked down nearly all of the non-BanYa tracks at PH(as is tradition), but you have to register and/or be a member to check them out, so you really ought to do so.
I've heard about seven of them so far. Three or four are really good, two are... interesting, and the DJ DOC song is disappointing. It's not bad, but... disco-dance isn't really what I expect from them.
My favorite's probably still Hold The Line, with So, Snow Dream(aka Christmas Memories from O2Jam[at very least, a very very close alternate version of it]), and Go Back really close behind. The last one sounds like more CB Mass goodness, but it's hard not to considering the Dynamic Duo are from the group.
I think NX is really going to be BanYa's mix through and through though. All their new songs seem awesome. _________________

I'm not official, but i have been in Korea for the past 2 years so i have attended their events. It just so happened that i met some of the staff so i have been helping a little with some translation stuff for the company however I gave my word to the marketing department not to leak out details of NX. Sorry guys.
I was the one who posted the first freestyle vids last from last years wpf2005 here : http://www.youtube.com/user/avex |

That's what I heard/read... I also heard Namco had to tear down a huge booth they were planning/building because of the cancellation. Boo. BOOO. XD
BTW, what did you mean by Gameland? :o *scratches head*

I'm not sure if I would be at G*, but I will definitely be at WPF2006; in fact it's one of the major goals of my vacation this time. Hehehe.
And yes, I sure as hell hope they'd unveil NX at WPF2006. After all, it's probably the only major showcase Andamiro's got left this year (unless they are planning something else around Christmas, which I doubt). XD
Eugene
P.S. BTW, where have you been staying? My studio is near êµëì.
P.P.S. Since you said you had been helping Andamiro translate things... No "Cancle" this time plz kekekeke _________________

ê°ìëë's are the places that have all the gambling machines. All over Korea you can walk through the city and see these businesses. They usually say ê°ìëë on them and have shaded windows or no windows. Many of the old arcades have a backroom that house these machines. There are so many of them now. There was a huge problem a few months ago that the government made them all completely illegal or something like that. Some were running these places using online pc gambling versions.
I am living in 경기ë 구리ì it's about 1hour by train to êµë.
Blue Kun Are you living in Korea now or visiting? |
