Many ITGFreak people look down on DDRFreak because they think it's full of idiots, not jackasses. ITGFreak actually has a lot more jackasses than DDRFreak. Jackasses are people who say things like "Wow, you're a fucking idiot." I see that a lot more on ITGFreak than DDRFreak.
And besides, this kind of thread will often generate the kinds of replies you've seen here, regardless of what forum you're on. When someone walks in and talks about something fairly well-known as if it were new and important info, people are going to post in the thread acting like it's news to them or like they disbelieve the person. It's funny. And if you don't think so, and the replies really bother you that much, all you have to do is click that little X in the corner of your browser.
