MYMYBOX has great customer service. I never had this kind of customer service. super fast email response time.
This blueshark metal pad is amazing. Now my friends are waiting on line to play on blueshark instead of playing on CF. This pad is extremely heavy. I could not move it by myself. The pad does not move at all while I am playing. This is amazing pad. This blueshark pad is totally different from Cobaltflux.
if you ask me which one to get it, I really reccomend this pad to anyone . My friend also just ordered one today.
This is the best metal pad that I ever played on it. |
Good to hear. I'm going to get one for Christmas because they'll be able to give me a PC Control Box with the pad apparently. (It's going to be used for Stepmania), and my Flux will be used for my PS2 games. |

Save money, get an EMS PS2/USB convertor. xP
Seriously, if all you want is a good pad to play Stepmania on, your modded CF will work fine. _________________

Won't you keep having to switch Control Boxes/Adapters to play Stepmania and PS2 games though? Also, I want my Cobalt Flux to remain stationary. With the base and bar mod it would weigh close to 100 pounds, and there's no way I'd drag that up and down the stairs everyday. Yeah, so I'm going with the Blueshark for my Stepmania set-up although I won't get it until Christmas. XD |

Ah.
Actually, you'd just plug the control box's Male PS2 Plug into the adaptor's Female PS2 ports, and plug the adaptor into the compy via USB port.
But really, it only works with a laptop, unless your DDR and your desktop are in the same room.
I have a laptop, so I can just pick it up, set it beside my TV, hook the TV and Pads up to the lappy, and I'm ready to go.
On that note, if you have a number of things you could use a laptop for (work, gaming, wireless internet, etc) other than just that, you could probably pick one up for only a little more than a blueshark, and then you'd have a mobile computer as well as SM that you can take anywhere you want. xD
I plan on building 6 pads myself.
2 that will be light, thin, and (best of all) highly portable, for things like parties at other locations; 2 for DDR/ITG, which will be arcade style, with fold-in bars; and 2 for PIU, which will be like arcade Pump pads, minus the wobbley bars, insensitive panels, and ugly decals. _________________

Anyways hopefully this can improvement my performance at the arcade and let me complete my dream, beating max 300 at the arcade and becomming a ledgend since everyone sucks at our arcade |

Hey guys with the pads. I still haven't received a approval shipping email thing. I received the first one but not the second or third email confirming it. It's been 5 days...I emailed them and posted on their forums, but they don't respond. I'm thinking about calling them. So guys how long did it take to get the approval emails? |

But I'm still a local legend due to my A on Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~ (Heavy), and I can normally AA it no bar too, but about 20 people were there when I A'ed it, and they were impressed nonetheless.
But there are people a lot better than me who frequent the local arcades.
I'm the new guy in the group, but I can't make up for Caffy and Phylicia, both of whom recently moved to different areas just as I came into the scene.
The arcade's also harder due to the bright flashing lights, the large, in-your-face screen, the (usually poor) air conditioning, the noise pollution, and the size and shape of the arcade pads. _________________

lol @ professionals. xD
Also, 70 lbs =/= light.
Not as heavy as a BlueShark, and a lot lighter than an actual arcade pad.
But not light. _________________

Yes, their email customer service was really super fast (usually a hour to reply). Their email customer service is better than RedOctane or other companies out there. |

I just recently purchase the Blueshark from PremiumGames on ebay around a week ago (325 w/ shipping), it's been awesome so far, but it has flaws of itss own.
The pros of it-
The sensitivity is awesome, the pad responds w/ out a problem, doesn't move, Premium Games was quick to jump on shipping my order recieved it in 3 DAYS. The pad a little dings that weren't too obvious, like little pebbles. The 2 inch thickness is probably the greatest aspect of this pad because it doesn't move a bit, and has the real arcade feel.
Cons-
Its loud as hell, it feels like the corner brackets are loose alot. To those with GXG's, are your panels small enough to leave huge gaps in your pad?
My up arrow doesn't fit properly, it doesn't affect gameplay but it's kind of a bother to me. Sometimes the pad doesn't register, due to the fact that the glue black strip on the sensors doesn't hold up well unless you move it back over it. My O button and Select button both aren't responding, though I don't really need them, it would be great if they worked. I'd open the O button but I haven't find the time for it. Other than that, it's flawless.
For those wondering what adapters, I went with Irvineking and purchased the Super Dual Box Pro frm the MMB website, and no problems setting it up for SM ( I don't like Xbox DDR ) .
I've AA plenty of songs, Passed Vertex with above a 75%, Delirium is a fun song that I cannot pass (I don't know why).
A few questions to those with the pad...
1. Anyone mess with the sensors, I've had to move 2 blocks so that they rae properly alligned with the sensors.....so my question is if any of you have modded it yourself and what you did.
2. What do you use to clean the surface of this...I'm scared to try anything that my shorten the pad.^ ^;
3. Any mods you guys (besides soldering the control box, that's not my thing) to make this pad 100X's better?
I'll put up pictures when my aunt gives my camera back but this pad recieves a rating of a 9/10!!!!!!11 |

Im most definately getting this pad, actually the 3" thick one with the bar, for christmas, its looks like an amazing pad. I have heard so many great things from this pad... and im pretty sure it comes with a warrenty... no? Does it feel pretty close to a arcade pad? Also, do you have to press the buttons in hard like on their MT6 pad? Thanks |

Yes, the blocks move a bit due to the crappy glue, but It can be easily remedied with a THIN layer of super glue or tape- don't worry about cleaning the top, it gets dirty real fast anyways. Yea, there are supposed to be some gaps in the arrows, but its no big deal. Try readjusting the brackets and rescrew them- it works miracles. |

Just build a bar....
6 month warranty, feels like an arcade pad and u DONT have to stomp.
I have tried rescrewing everything but it still is hella clangy (if thats a word)and makes me feel like its loose, when it really isn't.
I'll try regluing it later, I still need to open up the O button, but the screw is pretty dented it. |

Do the panels sink in like the flux or are they solid? jw _________________
