DDR In Your Dreams

once, i had a dream that there was a ddr machine outside at this theme park. and it was a DDRMAX machine. and as soon as I started playing, it started to rain.

Then this other time I had a dream that I was in Gatlinburg, and I was looking for a DDR machine, and i couldn't find one for some odd reason.

i remember this dream like the back of my hand...

i was standing on the side of the road near my house. there was an unusual amount of traffic today...im pretty sure it was thursday. Im holding a sign, and it says "DDR!!!" and theres an arrow pointing down my driveway. Nothing more happens for a few moments, until i notice people walking down the road...some of them look like they've been walking for days. they all go down my driveway (which is abnormally long) and bunch up near the end of it. After it looks like i've accumulated about 100 or so people, i blow a little whistle and a butler come out with a clipboard, and does what i assume to be a headcount. After thats done, i lead them all to my back yard, which (to my surprise) now contains a HUGE mansion, with really big, impressively ornate doors. i open them, and we walk in to a huge ballroom kinda thing, with more DDRExtreme machines than it seemed could fit in one place...they lined the walls, and there was one at the head of the room....everyone chose one, and then i went to that one at the head of the room. I guess they were all linked, because i was choosing the song for everyone....i chose Healing Vision, Witch doctor, and Era, in that order. I remember it being really cool that everyone was good enough to do them, and i could hear all the steps in sync behind me.

yeah....that was a pretty good dream.

When I'm tired and I close my eyes I often see arrows drifting up just before I fall asleep.

I haven't had too many DDR dreams that I remember but I do remember dreaming that I was DDR-ing over a giant rainbow. Like the arrows were on the rainbow except instead of them coming to you, you jumped on them.

This was my first DDR-related dream, and I just had it last night.

I was at Disneyland in some weird version of the Starcade, and I saw SN there. I got excited, and asked my dad for quarters, but i got like 8. The logo was really bright and kinda blurry, but it was SN. Some fat guy (who looks oddly enough like a mix of the uglier people at my school) said "I'm playing this a lot" or something along those lines. I saw about 9 quarters in a coin line, possibly all his >_>. The SN machine was perfectly synced. My idea of a first set came to mind: Doesn't Really Matter, then Ki-Se-Ki, then KNNNO. The screen seemed to be the same interface, and I heard the preview music for Ki-Se-Ki.

When I woke up, I forgot I'm not going to Disneyland until August 18. Hopefully the sync error is fixed by then.

I dreamed there were floating penis gummy ghosts trying to get inside my ears when I was at a girlscout meeting.

Now to the DDR dream........I dreamed some little kid broke my cobalt flux by stomping on it(and he looked around 70 pounds XD)......I got pissed and I screamed at him, but I didn't hurt him...

Never had a DDR dream, but then, I pretty much never dream anyway. But I do often see arrows going up when I close my eyes, particularly during especially boring and long classes, and just before sleep.

Once I dreamed that I was playing on a dance machine with 16 different arrows, and the songs were all impossible. I tried to stop playing but my hands were attached to the bar so I couldn't get away. I woke up after it felt like 3 hours of playing.

It's always a nightmare.

It's always for an arcade.
Some I get hwere it's just the main part of the machine and no pads, and I'm like how the hell do I play this?

Then the pads can suck
or the machine gets an error

...HOWEVER! When I close my eyes after a DDR arcade session, I see REALLY complex arrow streams...sometimes 3 or 4 simultanious arrows at some points :O

I have seen DDR in my dreams... in fact it seemed to happen quite often for a while, but it's always a weird DDR machine. In one dream, I found a machine in an arcade in a 2-story supermarket/Japanese market that had weird springy cushions for pads. I was flipping through the songs, then someone came and just hit the start button to pick a song. It was a nonexistent remix of "Have You Never Been Mellow" that was rated something like 11 or 14 feet. I had this dream back in the days of 3rd Mix when 9 was as high as it went. o_o Anyway, I start playing and on the first arrow, my foot sinks into the pad and then I'm launched off. In another dream, I saw a Tekken arcade cabinet, but it had DDR pads in front of it, and the marquee said "Tekken Dance Mix" on it. In still another dream, I found a DDR Solo machine, but it had 7 panels on it (DDR's Solo's 6 + one other corner) and the screen actually had Beatmania on it. All of these dreams occurred years ago, but I still remember them. I also recall having a dream that had something to do with DDR and World of Warcraft recently, but my memory's pretty fuzzy on that one oddly enough.

hmm...the only DDR dream i remember was when I like quintuple-A'd Sakura on heavy. pretty sweet.
and then there was one when there were 4 simultaneous arrows throughout the entire song.
