I don't see what the problem is.
It's only a 13% difference.
$1 US = S1.13 CA.
Besides, it's the same amount of money, just in different currencies.

DancingTofu>>>>There's no problem, the guy's just wondering why it costed $368.00

Seoul Player>>>>

Black and Textured:

Clear and Smooth:

They will make your Cobalt Flux look exactly the same only with extra lexan panels in the center and in the corners, and with brackets. I'd only recommend getting a clear and smooth mod kit if you're going to take out the center and corner decals. That way it actually changes the look. (...and makes it look more like the arcade pads, than the black and textured.)

I've never played on a Cobalt Flux so I can't really tell you much, but the people that have a Cobalt Flux with arcade mod say that it feels much more like the arcade than an unmodded Flux, but it doesn't give you the perfect arcade feeling. I ordered mine three days ago with a black and textured arcade mod kit. I'll send you a PM if you want, and I'll tell you what it's like compared to the arcade.

The day before I ordered my Flux, I was wondering if it was going to work for PS3. I'm sure it will, you'll just have to buy a different C-Box/Adapter.

I recently received my cobalt flux pad with black and textured arcade mod. I was wondering if I should still loosen the screws on it some if it might help my pad in anyway. My pad works great and I have AAA'ed a few songs, but I just wanted everyone's opinion here in this thread.

If they feel excessively tight, loosen them.
If not, it's probably fine.
Pads are 50% feel

I'd get the black and textured first because when it's time to clean out your pad in two months, you can simply take out the corner and center decals and install the clear and smooth mod kit. I'm gonna do that. E10.gif

Hi guys,

For those of you who are wondering about the CF extended warranty, here is my question to them:
Hi:
A few people from ddr freak, including myself, are wondering what exacly does the extended warranty cover (1 year instead of 6 months for the pads, and 3 more months for the cable box). Will it cover a sensor or wire that burns or stops working. I will let people know from ddr freak as soon as I hear from you. Thanks

Here is the CF answer from Ivoree:
Yes, you have it correct. The extended warranty is a year. If anything after that happens we will still fix it, but you will have to cover parts and shipping! Thank you~

Also, I would like to know if you get the choose between the black and textured and clear and smooth when you order the modchip. I didn't see that we could choose when I visited the website.

I know for a fact that they can handle at least 400 lbs.

You really should clean out you pad after a while.
Take a damp cloth and just wipe the inside of the pad. Just incase if anything got in there. Crumbs, sticky liquids, etc.

According to FedEx, they said that my Cobalt Flux would arrive today, but now they say it'll be on Monday, October 2nd. Damn it! I wanted to play my SuperNOVA game on it today. frown.gif

Anyone know the measurements for a Cobalt Flux base mod? How big should to piece of wood on the bottom be? 37" x 34" maybe?

Two months? I clean my CFs every six.
