Why is this considered a bad thing? IMO the overall skill level of the dance-game community has increased so significantly since the release of Extreme AC that it would seem illogical not to. If only we could now catch up on the stepchart difficulty. Again, they don't have to all be 12s but a few more 9s would be nice, and getting rid of horrid charts like Under the Sky heavy would also contribute. |

It's a big problem for alot of people because the requirement has gone up by 2% I believe. It's a significant amount when you get into the 90%'s. I don't really notice anything about the "stricter?" timing windows though. |

It'll just be a little repetitive when I start getting A's all the time (I suppose I should mention that I play charts in the 7-9 range). Now that Boos and Misses... er, Almosts and Boos don't hurt your DP any, 80% is rather easier to get. If you ask me, they should have bumped up the DP% thresholds for the other grades as well. _________________

Fascination ~Eternal Love Mix~ seemed off as well. I could have sworn I was timing it right, and I got all greats when I can SDG stuff all the time (before the update). I mean, I had 90% more Perfects on Faxx before the update than I did last night on Felm |
I think you just have to get used to it, I did really really bad the first time I played felm and then earlier today I got about 350 steps in before I failed and ended with around 40 greats(the jumps confuse me on reverse). The sync seems better and it feels a lot different but I've adjusted within a days time of playing and I'm doing just as good, if not better, than what I was doing without the patch. |

The 9500000 points and FC are the same as Extreme 2, right?
I don't really care, I just wish I could get more practice on FaxX, I can only AA ONE song in SN, MOON. Everything else seems offsync >_> At least more than MOON does. I got 16 Greats on it the 5th time I played it. That's a better score than I've ever gotten on any song, ever. _________________

No. EXTREME 2 required 9,200,001 or higher and a full combo for a AA. SuperNOVA simply requires 9,500,000 or higher for a AA, but does NOT require a full combo for that grade, though it will highlight your grade with orbiting circles should you achieve a full combo, much like EXTREME 2 adds a star to any full combo grade. _________________

I'm pretty sure that they have, actually.
A = 81% (was 80%)
B = 65% (was 60%)
C = 54% (was 45%) _________________

Well! I sit corrected. Thanks for the info. But only a 1% bump in the A cutoff is kind of disappointing. Oh well. _________________

Wrong, I've gotten 95+ and still had an A all because of one Miss. _________________

Just one question.
Is D2R on sync right now with the new patch? I can't bring myself to play any old songs, since I have to drive 45 minutes to play, whereas I have an Extreme 10 minutes away. |

I find it kinda odd how some of the most random songs kept their background videos, or even got new / higher quality ones. They should've kept the background videos for all the old songs, considering they are all already made. _________________

The higher resolution would make the old bgs look pixelated. And plus, the EX2 ones are just so much better. |
